I liked my room at the Downtowner overall and seen much worse 2-3 star motels. The room was pretty no frills but modernized, clean, had air conditioning, complementary WiFi, cable with flat screen. My bed was real comfy too.
Staff was very friendly and helped us upgrade our room when we saw our first hotel room initially. Perfect location, if you want to stay right on Fremont street. Only down fall we had was the smell in the hallways and having to pay $70 a day for a nice pool to attend next door at the Golden ...
Very interesting, dark and sexy place. Enjoyed looking at the Art replica paintings and sculptures and mirrors on the walls and ceilings in common areas. Pool outside in a walled enclosure. Comfortable bedding and clean. Simple. The hotel concierge and butler are friendly, polite and educated. We had a ...

Some fun daytime activities include visiting the Ethel M Chocolate Factory & Cactus Gardens, going on the rides at the top of the Stratosphere Tower, hiking along the Colorado River or Red Rock Canyon, and dropping by Sam’s Town to watch the daily laser shows at the Mystic Falls. Of course, when the temperatures rise, an afternoon spent lazing by a hotel pool is always a good option!
