Nice condo

Posted 21-Feb-2017
Pros: Close to venue I had to spend the weekend at. Very clean and safe.
Cons: Sofa bed mattress a little more comfortable, and a vacuum in the room.
Easy check in check out, close to venue I had to stay at.

Excellent off-strip accommodations to enjoy "more"

Posted 18-Feb-2017
It's a gated entrance, so the first impression is effective security. The staff was pleasant, the main building was clean and welcoming. These are clusters of condos. Covered parking at your condo entrance was plentiful. Everything in the room was in good order and clean. Full living experience with all the amenities to stay for an extended period of time, especially beneficial if you plan to cook your own meals. There is no on-site restaurant, but plenty of choices within a short walk or drive to just about anything. Being condo-style, I did not have daily towel or turn-down service. Plenty of towels provided, but was not serviced in the 2 days/ 3 nights I was there. While not an issue for me personally, it was only me. The Strip is a short drive or take advantage of the shuttle. This was a business trip for me. While the strip was not my destination, I did enjoy dinner at one of the casinos on the strip. Easy to get to, easy to leave from (not withstanding anticipated traffic). The room was sufficiently quiet and very comfortable. I was only there for sleeping, but wish I could have used the available pool or other resort assets (next time). It all appears in very good condition and maintained to a high standard. Check-out was easy with very friendly staff. In summary, if your plans are beyond being on the strip the whole time, you desire easy access to anything, high security, and comfortable condo-style accommodations, this is a great choice.

Great room with lots of space. Full kitchen!

Great place except they called our room twice and stopped me in the lobby trying to get me to go to a time share meeting.

Nice condo but the beds are terrible.

Posted 09-Feb-2017
Over all okay but the ac/heat didn't work well and the beds were terrible. It was like sleeping on a board. If not for those two things I would give it a high rating

Great suites and close to the strip!

Posted 08-Feb-2017
Pros: Free shuttle to strip, spacious suites, gate closed at night
Location: Not many restaurants within walking distance but if you have a car, there are many options within a 5-10 minute drive.
I stayed here with my husband and parents and reserved a two bedroom suite. We had an excellent stay as the hotel was a quick drive to the strip but also had a free shuttle for those without cars or did not want to drive. Check-in was great and we got the run down from the sales rep for Diamond Resorts. Please note that this is a Diamond Resorts property so they will try to sell you and book you in for a sales presentation. We did not take up this offer although they did call us in the room to follow-up a few times. Other than this minor thing, our stay was great. The room we had was great. It was very spacious, had a walk-in closet not only in the master but also in the 2nd bedroom, and everything was clean and well managed. The kitchen was roomy and had everything we needed. I would HIGHLY recommend this place if you're looking for a functional space rather than just a basic hotel room. Noise didn't travel between the rooms and again, SUPER SPACIOUS.

So much better than the strip!

Posted 25-Jan-2017
We come to Vegas every January for Surfaces. We decided last year that staying in an affordable yet small and unappealing casino hotel room just to be kinda close to the Mandalay Bay convention center was overrated. We were walking miles and miles daily to and from the convention, not including the full day on our feet working the convention. The tram helped but not that much. I found the Desert Paradise Resort, looked it up on Google maps and decided to give it a try. Now that the convention center has parking we decided to rent a car as well. Well, we are now in control of our time in Vegas! The resort is literally 2 turns from the parking garage, maybe 2 miles out...maybe. this place was perfect! Staff was so professional and friendly. Room was like it had just been remodeled. Loved having so much space for the week. Huge closet, laundry was great for fluffing suitcase clothes. Cooked breakfast in the amazingly well stocked kitchen daily. There is a small deck as well. We will never stay in a casino on the strip again. We actually saved money because we weren't forced to pay the higher strip resort fees or take cabs! (There is a fee but half of strip cost). 2 heated pools as well. Plenty of covered parking and gated for safety. I bet we told 50 people about how we stayed this year! One of our friends was still walking to his room 2 hotels away from the convention and we were already in our room relaxing and off our feet!
