Noah

Circus circus casino hotel has a nice vintage look to it, but it’s also up to date where needed. I stayed at Treasure Island first, and though that’s much better centered for the strip, overall Circus Circus still topped it. Their casino was my favorite of the ones I went to as well for slots and the other games like that.

Stayed in the adjoining property and it wasn’t very clean and I didn’t feel safe. Only stayed there because it was the least expensive place in Vegas on a Saturday. Won’t go back.

The room that I had seemed dirty. It was in the oldest part of the casino/hotel. There were wet ink stains on the carpet that I tried to clean up and then I avoided that area but it was at the threshold. The view from the room was looking through a masonry lattice onto a roof. Several elevators didn't work or seemed stuck on different floors. My neighbor room was noisy. I didn't spend much time in the hotel except to sleep. I felt my room was selected by them because it was so cheap and I was staying alone, not with my family. It looked like the newer tower was better kept. Quite a few homeless around the McDonald's that was very near to Circus Circus. The Police substation is right there but I only once saw a policeman in their vehicle in front of the station. I was asked for bus fare a few times getting off the bus.

They literally cheated with us. They were supposed to give in the main hotel but they give us in the apartment like room and told us if we want main room than they ask to pay more 25$ per day that was horrible

Check in was a nightmare. But after that fiasco was over things went better. The place could good use some TLC and maybe more cleaning staff. WiFi is iffy and cell service is not good at all. Shops were wonderful. And every one was super friendly.

I expected it to be a bit more nice, my room ( I was staying on the 15th floor) in the bathroom, the wallpaper was already coming off, underneath the sink was dirty. Maybe give all the rooms some deep TLC (Tender loving care). ❤️

It is a great price. There are lots of rooms. I don't understand why Lyft can't pick you up near registration. The walk to the front area is a bit nutty.

We stayed here for the water slides/features for the kids. All were shut down except one slide. Only one pool was open, and it was overcrowded. The hot tub was full of kids, jumping in and out. The first night someone pulled the fire alarm so they closed the elevator. They weren’t allowing people to use the stairs (security had it blocked off), so my husband was stuck in the lobby for over an hour. We didn’t have cell service while inside the building, so we were unable to contact each other. It was nerve racking. It’s frightening knowing that when the fire alarm is pulled, they block the stairs. Also, we only had one channel, it was TLC. We watched an entire “sister wives” marathon during our 5 day stay. The front desk said they’d send an “engineer” right up to fix it, never did. The worst part is that the employees don’t care. They’re incredibly disrespectful, I believe because they’re not reprimanded for rude behavior. They’re allowed to treat people poorly and it was discouraging. There are people unruly everywhere, acting out and being loud and crazy and nothing is done about it. Out front is a slew of “fake” Uber drivers hustling people for rides. Another driver told me it’s against Uber policy to give rides outside the platform while using the Uber logo. The guy charged us $25 while the app was showing $12. We didn’t realize the scam until in the car. This was the only hotel we saw with the scam drivers out front, and there were at least 6 different cars.

The Skyrise Tower is definitely cleaner/less smoky, and close to Adventuredome and the pool. Would have been perfect except my friend’s car was broken into in the parking lot
