Middle of the strip

Nice hotel! Check in staff was ok, not overly friendly. Bell hops were helpful and cheerful.

Nice upgrade

Posted 18-Jan-2018
Pros: Even though it's a bit older, the room was very clean and comforting.
Cons: The blanket on the bed was very thin, a down comforter would have been much appreciated!
Location: I liked the location. For a LV casino, there was not too much distance between the parking, and elevators, etc. Connected to Paris!
Because they were not fully booked the front desk upgraded our room to a big jacuzzi suite for free! It was a very nice surprise, we really enjoyed the room. I had wished for another blanket on the bed. We were on the 6th floor, in the room on the end, it was very quiet!

Everything was nice & have no complaints. Easy walk to the strip. Right across the street from the Bellagio so you can watch the fountains.

Only good thing about this hotel is the location

Posted 16-Jan-2018
Pros: Other than the location at the center of the strip, nothing was really appealing about this hotel.
Cons: Everything. The rooms need a major renovation. They are old and dilapidated.
Location: Location is the only positive thing I can say about this hotel. Also, there is a monorail station for convenience to the convention center.
I have been to Vegas many times & stayed at countless hotels. Didn't have a particularly good experience in Bally's. The rooms looked nothing like the pictures advertised in Expedia. They were old & outdated. The bed wasn't comfortable and sagged on one end due to overuse. There was very little water pressure in the shower, hot water came and went. There were hammering and construction sounds early in the morning for 4 of the 5 nights we stayed. We were given no notice or warning of construction prior to check-in or when booking the reservation. The last night being the loudest and most annoying, especially since the sounds started between 8:00-9:00 am in the morning. We only had our room made 1 of the 4 other nights we stayed in the hotel, even though we left the room around noon. We called room service to make sure the room was made the 3rd and 4th nights, but when we came back at night it still wasn't made. The final straw came when they wouldn't even let us have a later checkout time, not even by an hour. I have stayed at the majority of the hotels in Las Vegas and I don't know if I have ever had a worse experience. The only reason we chose this hotel, other than the location was because the price was reasonable, but that's not saying much since we were there for CES and the rooms are usually at least triple or quadruple the regular going rate. Lastly, we were also charged $10 a day for parking a rental car. But I'm told that most Las Vegas hotels now charge for parking.

Water Leak Nightmare

Posted 16-Jan-2018
Pros: Checking in
Cons: Rooms, staff / management, condition.
Location: Great location close to all the action.
After being out having fun for the night we returned to our room at 3am. My wife walks into the restroom not knowing that there had been a flood from the sink and she slipped. We called the front desk and it took them an hour to get a tech there to fix the problem and have the restroom cleaned up. Things happen we get it but we were still charged the resort fee, there was no true remorse from staff on our experience.

Nice hotel, right at the corner of Las Vegas Blvd. and Flamingo rd. I don't think you can find any better deal than this, good places to eat inside.

Middle of the action

Posted 15-Jan-2018
Bally's location is excellent. The room was spacious, clean, and comfortable. The parking was easy, and close (compared to so other hotels on the Strip). Wi-Fi was good. Only complaint is that the windows must have been paper thin...we were on the 11th floor above flamingo road and the traffic was so loud. But we slept fine, so not too bad. Overall, a great room and an excellent location will keep is coming back here!

An old hotel sitting on a good location

Posted 15-Jan-2018
Overall I think Bally’s is an old hotel, it’s not bad but you can tell from the environment and equipments. It took a bit long to checking in although there are only couple people in front of us because there was only one staff in the checking in section. The location is very good it’s almost the center of the strip so you can go anywhere without long traveling.

Great location

Posted 15-Jan-2018
Pros: Great location in the middle of the strip.
Location: Fantastic location in the centre of the Strip.
This hotel was selected for its location. We paid extra for a strip view room and feel it was worth the extra money. After self parking we initially struggled to find the Bally's reception and found ourselves in the Paris hotel. It's a long walk from car parking to hotel elevators and this annoyed me when they charge $10 a night for parking. We really liked that the room was decorated in a elegant modern style and that the room was quiet. Housekeeping did a great job each day. We were charged an extra $14 for extra device wifi usage. We are still not sure how this happened as we don't remember adding an extra device. Would definitely consider staying here next time.
