"Nice, clean location right near the water in Rio. Was very nice opening the window and seeing the beautiful scenery. Lots of stairs to reach the room. By the photos on booking site, I expected a small balcony but our room did not have one. Parking was a plus (additional fee) but was a bit of a walk (mostly uphill) to reach accommodations which was challenging in the August heat with luggage. They do offer an optional service to transport luggage which we wish we purchased in hindsight. Checkout was in an adjacent building with more stairs to reach office. A/C wasn’t very powerful and we found the property to be warm and muggy, which has been our experience in most of our accommodations in Italy but wanted to note if A/C is important to you."

"We have nothing but good things to say! The staff is incredible. We had a terrible accident on our way to the hotel that left my daughter unable to walk and the staff did everything possible to to make our stay wonderful! The location is perfect! The rooms are beautiful! The view!! We will be back when we are mobile!"

"The hotel was wonderful with a beautiful view to the sea!!! And the beds were very comfortable . Wonderful breakfast. I must add: think twice before driving there because of road condition. . You can use train+bus. Any way the parking is street side but there were enough parking spots."

"The owner takes personal responsibility for making sure all of her customers have everything they need. Breakfast was really great. The room and bathroom are clean. If you arrive by train, you have to take a shuttle bus to the village, Volastra. It's a 10-15 min ride. The shuttle goes every 30 to 60 minutes until 11:45ish."

"The room was super nice and it had a balcony attached to the room. The amenities were amazing as there was tea, biscuits, towels were provided, and body wash and shampoo (and some more). The terrace at the top was very cute to just sit there during the day. I would recommend this place and would book it again when I’m back in the area."

"Truly exceeded our expectations. The staff were wonderful, always friendly and ready to help with anything I needed. The views from my room were unbelievable, offering breathtaking scenery that made my stay even more memorable. And we enjoyed a great breakfast with plenty of delicious options to choose from. Overall, I highly recommend this hotel for anyone looking for a comfortable and enjoyable stay."

"Spectacular from the moment we boarded the local train into Corniglia. The host was communicative, helpful, and beyond kind. He and his wife truly made us feel welcome and part of the family. The property is a slice of paradise providing a true feeling of the local culture, and very unique location right off the lardarina. Grazie mille for an epic family adventure vacation."

"Julia and Paulo were excellent hosts and provided a beautiful accommodation for my sister and I! I would recommend this place to anyone who wants to get away from the crowds. Be aware that rides up to the property are very limited, there is a bus that takes around 35 minutes to get down and it only runs about 5 times a day. There are taxis but it costs around 25 euro one way."

"L’appartement est très bien placé au cœur de Corniglia, avec une magnifique vue sur la mer et très au calmeC’est l’endroit idéal pour visiter les Cinque TerreNous y avons passé un excellent séjour et avons beaucoup apprécié le balcon d’où nous avons pu admirer de magnifiques couchers de soleilÀ noter qu’à l’exception de quelques places gratuites, le stationnement est payant et situé à environ 500 m de l’appartement qui n’est pas accessible en voiture comme tout le village"
