don’t worry there are chips and british bacon

beautifull pool area a big plus one of pools heated great spa ignore people’s veiw on food if you go to a big hotel were food is cooked in large quantities you are never going to please everyone there were nice salads plenty of fresh fruit freshly cooked meats and fish omelettes but they always had chips and hilarious and embarrassing to stand next to someone when on the canary island ask where’s the british bacon none left a holiday is what you make it we had lovely weather for the week but some quests we spoke to said the weather had been terrible if your away for a week in the canary’s even they can have dodgy weather on of the first hotels in the canary’s I’ve been able to swim everyday.yes little negatives but not enough for me to critise and let it spoil my holiday go and enjoy the beautiful outside area and I think every room gets sun all day beautiful sunsets little tip if you don’t want to listen to entertainment every night ask to have a room away from show bar well done Beatriz costa spa loved it

beautifully designed hotel

Pros: the staff were excellent - free shuttle bus to the beach - hundreds of loungers poolside - great buffet, something different every night -
Location: 12 minute walk to las cucharas shopping centre and beach, mainly downhill, no steps encountered - 3 euros for a taxi back to hotel.
A wonderfully relaxing stay at this hotel - very spacious rooms, all with balconies overlooking the pools - very friendly, smiling staff - the interior of the hotel is very impressive with palm trees , ferns and ivy everywhere - huge atrium in the piano bar, must be about 100 feet high, with glass on one side letting in lots of light - several shops in hotel selling hand made jewellery from local minerals, etc. this was our twelfth visit - love it, can't wait to return

Contrasting hotel

Pros: The food was terrific -the facilities were great outside-great pools and leisure facilities.
Cons: Bedrooms were a contrasting experience -showers and balcony excellent-beds very ancient and also chairs had no springs in.them
Location: A bit far outside the town -15-20 minute walk to beach and town but an excellent shuttle (3 times each way daily) made up for this.
Fantastic buffet-best buffet I have experienced in any hotel and great variety on theme nights.

Largely positive...with reservations!

Lovely hotel though perhaps not for those who want a central location as there is nothing in the immediate vicinity. Spacious rooms, good pool area, food fine for breakfast and dinner, pretty dreadful for lunch though when little effort appears to be made. Reception and cleaning staff lovely, bar staff largely grumpy - I know they work long hours but a smile doesn't take much effort!

Could do with a update a bit dated in rooms

Had to change first room on the second day as they could not provide another room that day had to wait till next day . Staff were helpful and polite about room change .

wrong bed

Pros: Clean and good breakfast. Good facilitys.
Cons: When you book a double bed in your room you should expect to get it. Reception staff should be more helpfull.
Location: Nice quiet area. walking distance to restaurants and beach.
we asked for a double bed when we booked. We got twin beds.When we told reception they said there was only 16 in the hotel and they were taken. They did say we could ask again in the morning. When we asked them about printing our flight check in passes they said we had to email them the boarding passes but when we couldnt get the email to work they refused to go to rynair web site, i tried for 2 hours and they still refused to go to the rynair site, said it was against their policy. You could hear the entertainment music very loud from your room untill it finished.

Ten minute stroll to lovely beaches

Did not get room i booked even doe it was half full felt they were going charge if i asked.the gym was a shocker witch was big problem for me. Aftrr that everything eas great would go back again

Nice spacious hotel but noisy

The hotel is big and well enough equipped. Room are good, very large with a good size bed, table and chairs, large private balcony and large bathroom. 2 major downsides. The noise from the evening entertainment was too loud to sleep until 1130pm. Not a problem if you want to be in the bar every night but a pain if you don't. Also, the bath was lovely but the shower ran hot and cold. Breakfast average standard but plentiful and lots of choice.
