The only let down was the evening bar staff. They were always busy which lead to them being rather grumpy. I travelled with 2 infirm adults but I was only allowed to get 2 drinks and had to re-queue again to get my own.

We really enjoyed our recent stay at the Grand Teguise Playa so I felt it was only right that I wrote this review. The hotel is well managed and the staff are friendly and efficient and helpful in every department. The food in the restaurant is very good with a wide selection every night. I have coeliac disease and other food intolernaces and the restaurant staff went out of their way to cater for my needs. The hotel is big and spacious and although it was full throughout our stay it never felt crowded. The pool area is beautiful with plenty of sun beds both in the shade and in the sun. There is entertainment every evening which is varied and mostly of a good quality. The hotel is well situated in the centre of the resort with direct access on to the promenade and sandy beaches are close by. Costa Teguise is the quietest of the three main resorts In Lanzarote but there is plenty to do both in the resort and on the island. I would thoroughly recommend this hotel for a great holiday in Lanzarote. Well done and thank you to the managment and staff.

Best hotel ever! The stuff is so friendly and helpful. The property is clean and beautiful. Rooms are big, clean and in good condition. The food at the restaurant is amazing with lots of choices. The pools outside are great !

Great hotel, staff very friendly, immaculately clean. The small pool that was used by children was very cold, where the other pools were lovely and warm. Good selection of food. Day time activities aimed at adults not much for younger children. Very well situated and would definitely go back.

Beautiful stay
Absolutely beautiful hotel, from the staff to the food and the decor. Lots of food and drink options too. Also a lovely stroll along the beach which is on the door step . I really would recommend this hotel.

Very nice hotel We went all inclusive Food was good nice choice Easy to find a seat and great service. Rooms could be a bit cleaner kept finding little flies about. Comfortable beds and nice linen. Lovely view of pool and sea floor 1 same floor as reception so no need for use of lifts perfect. Did ask to keep our room longer on check but was told hotel was fully booked not sure how true this was. Not a problem as there was changing area. Didn’t like the fact people go out and put towels on the sunloungers this should be stopped or staff should remove the towels. Would we go back ? Yes definitely

I confirm we had an occupation near to 100% during eastern and previous weeks. Remember that Lanzarote is an island and all guest arrived by plain, that leads to massive arrivals and the priority is a quick check in in order guest can have the rooms at 15:00 or before. It is really difficult to leave the rooms to previous guest as, when guest leave rooms at 12:00 we have to do the maintenance check and clean them for guest that are waiting. Nevertheless thank you for mentioning that our changing area with shower and fresh towels were correct and satisfying. Excellent hotel warm welcoming very clean . hard working staff nothing is a problem. Very spacious pool area well kept no sunbed shortages just relaxing surroundings. beautiful sea views, good choice of food. And a great very large indoor bar area and good shows nightly. all in all lovely holiday destination will be back very soon.

Best hotel in Costa Teguise at the moment
Hi, I live reasonably locally. But once a month we will go to a hotel for the weekend and check it out. I've tried around a dozen different hotels in Costa Teguise and this one is the best. Recently refurbished. Nice staff. Food is pretty good. Rooms are lovely. Pool area is fab and the location can't be beaten.

We have stayed in several 4 and 5 star places across Lanzarote and so far this one has been the best. The room was huge (we booked a suite). Staff were friendly and the place was centrally located and immacualtely clean. It is also better value than a lot of the others. We recently stayed at Malia Selinas which was double the price of this and nowhere near as good.

Good but could improve
Great staff, wonderful location, super rooms and pool. But no room in the central section cannot escape the very loud "entertainment" that runs to midnight every night. Also the food was very bland and unadventurous. Certainly not to 4* standard.

The service inside the hotel was excellent, special thanks to the Porter who helped me to print my travel form on a way back to UK. Wonderful food three times a day, drink for free and warm pool with salty water to swim!!! What else to wish after very cold, rainy winter in the UK!!!

Pleasant hotel with very friendly staff
We stayed 2 nights with half board. Our stay was ok. The hotel is a 4-star so service was more or less at that level. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The food in the buffet is not bad in general. There is a very small corner with gluten free bread, cereals and pastry but that’s it. No vegan/vegetarian alternative for sausages or bacon. There are alternative milks, soya, oat and lactose free. And there is live cooking where they cook fried eggs and omelettes. The room was nice, well presented at arrival and there was this plate with fresh fruit. The shower trail got full of water easily when having a shower. The hotel was very clean and the staff were constantly keeping all the facilities clean. Generally good.

COVID sucks!
Disappointed by attitude from staff. COVID rules are COVID rules, but I felt staff were quite rude and abrupt in sever circumstances, including at dinner when I accidentally went the wrong direction through there one way system to get food. Also when I asked for water at the outside bar, my mask was a little loose and rather than ask me to adjust it I just got yelled at and told to go away and come back. Room was lovely, location was great, but I felt let down by hotel staff.

Animation take place at the atrium, the soul of the hotel, beautiful but it maximize the sound. Nevertheless, we will take note of your dislikes and continue working with passion to improve our facilities and services. Pools are outdoors near the sea, they are not surrounded by buildings, exposed to climatology conditions so normally heated pool temperature in Winter oscillates from the morning to the afternoon between 20º and 25º, and in Summer from 21º and 26 º. About the hotel I can only humbly offer my view on our offer. Below I detail strengths of our hotel that together create a quality experience for most customers and justify the strong demand for it: • the location (definitely the best of Costa Teguise and one of the best on the island), a stone's throw from the beaches, the promenade and the commercial center of the Costa Teguise area, which in turn is near capital, the airport and in the middle of the island making access both north and south of it easy. • Breakfast food excellent + / + tasty and homemade desserts all homemade. • Personal Bar and Restaurant friendly and knowledgeable professional. • Relaxed atmosphere and good cleaning (all common areas renovated furniture) • Staff excellent animation. Quality shows / live music • Options facilities (beach + 2 pools - one heated) • Spectacular sea views (eye standard rooms do not guarantee or balcony views but they are few in number) I hope this information is useful. The location of the hotel is very good in Costa Teguise, we were half board and there were plenty of restaurants in walking distance if we fancied a change. The way the hotel faces gives most rooms a sea view. While our room was clean it was a bit tired and is probably due for a refurbishment, the furniture was scratched and walls in places where you would expect e.g Suitcase areas etc. The rest of the hotel though is well maintained and plenty to do in the hotel and surrounding area.

All rooms are sea view. Rooms are small but adequate. The ‘free bottled water’ advertised is one 1.5l water on arrival only. Was led to believe it was daily. However, access to water and ice until 5pm. Could have done with a kettle in the room. Fridge was small, but useable for the 4 days I was there. Lovely selection of food, pleased with the gluten free section/choice. No drinks included in half board at evening meal. Not even water. Close to amenities and bars/shops. Quiet in the evenings. I had early flight and had to leave hotel at 4.30am. Advised reception and asked for a breakfast bag or similar, which was steadfastly refused, even with a few days notice. Agreed to open up for access to tea & coffee. The ruling about not reserving sunloungers etc was massively overlooked. Most reserved from 7am, some with towels on and never being occupied. Hotel did not do anything about it, but I guess that’s common in most resorts now. On the whole, it was a lovely hotel, in a lovely area.

Please accept my apologize and none of those are excuses, just explanations about the subjects you write about. As our first aim is guest satisfaction, we take the good of that, and continue working with illusion and passion. - The welcoming bottle of water was a cortesy welcoming detail and this is explain through a sign that hangs at the bottle to avoid wrong expectations. - Kettles are for rent at reception for 2,2 euros per day. -Fridge is a standard size and free use. - Halb board Service terms are set by contract, in accordance with Tour Operators and guest who agree by accepting the package price. At Restaurant we serve glass bottles of 50ml, in the price is included the service of the waiter, table clothes, etc, etc, Due to Health and Safety reasons we do not prepare picnics in advance. To prepare them at the moment guest requested it is possible and is charged with extra payment. As a special deference and all our love we have opened the restaurant at 4:00. Sorry that although striving to please you do not been successful. At all Hotels and Restaurants in the world services has a timetable unless are advertised as 24hour service. I appreciate than you comment the theme of sunbeds; this certainly is a matter of education, despite there are signs everywhere, it depends on guest behavior. The security staff supervises until 9, but after 9 is difficult to know if the owner is in the bathroom or in the pool, however we do our best, but after all is a matter of education and awareness. I hope next time you come you can enjoy in a different way our facilities. Sincerely,

Staff were excellent. Food is good also. Lots of entertainment day and night. I would say however that our room was directly above the interior stage and our room was to the right of the outdoor one! Make sure you ask where your room is allocated.

Dear Guest, There is a central located number of rooms that open to the Atrium where the Animation took place. Many guest´s does not care and even those rooms have a high demand. Other´s prefer a more quiet location. You can express your preferences to our Booking department, reception staff and we will be pleased to fulfill your petitions under availability.
