Usually very satisfied but not so much this time around. It is a small matter but we felt that my enquiry about leaving my mobile phone charger wasn't taken seriously. Which made this a problem for contacting family on travel arrangements.
despite being my birthday we didn't get anything complementary, there is no one checking people in so you do it yourself. no personal interaction in this hotel. Facilities ok

Took two Grandsons for one night stay. The Dalmeny allow you to use facilities after checking out, so one night equals two days holiday. They give the kids a wonderful time with indoor pool and ballroom fun/games, craft room, film room, games room etc. Well positioned for beach, pier, shops and ...
We lived quite near to the Oaks and ate there several times during the 80's and 90s. Cornwall beckoned and we retired there a while ago. Sadly we had to travel to Lancashire to attend a funeral. The Oaks did not disappoint in fact it was better than we expected. The receptionist gave us a warm and ...
I had travelled 300 miles from Norwich to Lytham St Anne's on my own and was pleased to find a welcoming, traditional, seaside hotel that was welcoming and friendly and felt safe too. Lovely staff and equally lovely breakfasts.
Nice stay. Nice, comfy and clean appartment. You need to pay for towels if you want to use swimming pool. Breakfast only on Friday, Saturday and Sunday so thats a big minus.
Visitors have been attracted to Lancashire for at least a century. Aristocrats favoured the beautiful landscapes here for building their rural retreats and stately homes. When workers finally got some rights and leisure time they piled on to the new railways from grim urban mills and factories to enjoy a day out at towns like Blackpool and other seaside resorts. There are also many ruined abbeys and medieval castles scattered across the Lancashire hills from an earlier period, adding to the beauty of the landscape.
Today, people come here to enjoy a variety of outdoor activities and to visit those same stately homes, castles and abbeys which were once the preserve of a privileged few. Even spa resorts are now available to everyone, so the hotel industry has been entirely democratised. Stay at a Lancashire spa hotel on your next trip here and you'll be treated like a lord or lady - for a few days at least!
