Excellent mid week break

Posted 12-Oct-2016
Pros: Close to beach and tram stop
Cons: Nothing
Location: Beach front close to tram stop. Easy to get everywhere cheaply. £5.00 per adult for a 24hr ticket.
Food was excellent value for money. Good clean room and comfortable lounge and bar.

Friendly and clean

Staff went out of their way to help especially the night Porter. He went to get water and ice from the kitchen. (The cold water in the room was tepid). We took our labrador dog with no problems. We were amazed at the cleanliness and the wonderful odour of bleach! We will return here on our next trip to Blackpool.

Budget hotel

Cheap hotel, OK for an overnight stay but not longer, bar meals nicer than restaurant, waited a good 10 minutes to be served at an empty bar, quiet side of Blackpool

Pros: Managed to park on site
Cons: Needs upgrading and updating
We had one night stay in a family room. The room was not family friendly. The handles on the windows was broken....the windows wouldn't shut properly and had gaffer tape holding them together.......no hot water in the morning and the sink was blocked.....no water pressure to get the shower to work......carpets not cleaned......fire alarm went off in the middle of the night for 10 seconds with no explanation why.

Outdated and uncomfortable

Posted 28-Aug-2016
We booked a family room for 2 adults and 2 children online for 2 double beds. However on arrival we ended up with 4 single beds....The carpet was stained, the chair at the dressing table was stained, the windows wouldn't open. The only plus points were that the hotel was directly in front of the beach and the breakfast was very filling.
