"Close to the station"
Within walking distance of the railway station and even closer to the city itself. Pity the castle had scaffolding or the view would have been good as well.

"Excellent self catering apartment"
Had a two night stay with our granddaughter for the illuminations. Brillant stay. Our hosts couldn't do enough for us. Really handy appartments right at the start of illuminations. Tram stop right outside and across the road from prom and sea. Loads of restaurants on your doorstep. With the added benefit of a lift to all floors too. Thanks very much we shall return

"Could be really good."
Check in took 15 minutes, one girl on reception.Got to room and keycard didn't work, back to reception to wait again.Hotel is totally refitted due to floods so quite smart. The free WiFi in room is useless so frustrating and slow you don't bother with it. Breakfast is nice but not run very well and was freezing with air con blasting out.Decent hotel but could be so much better.

"Close to beach and town "
Unfortunately, they had no record of us having a dog, even though I had put this on the Expedia notes when I booked! Tina was lovely about it and said this happens sometimes with Expedia. It's an old hotel but she keeps it clean. Very friendly.

"Lovely, friendly stay in Ingleton "
Fab little pub in the village of Ingleton. Really friendly bar staff and manager, even though they were really busy as we arrived on New Years Eve. Arranged a table for our evening meal and the food was worth the money. Room was comfy and lovely and warm, had everything you needed. My only comment would have been that breakfast on New Years Day could have been extended as this was served only between 8-9am - a little early for the New Years celebrations but I do appreciate they cater for the hikers and walkers who want to be up and out early. Breakfast was cooked to order and was made of all local produce - great full english to start the day. Would highly recommend as the rate was very reasonable

"Friendly and welcoming hotel near the prom"
Friendly and warm welcome upon arrival and our room was ready early which was good. Room was clean and big enough for the 4 of us. A 5 minute walk from the prom and the trams and buses. Breakfast was good with a good choice of cereals, toast and full English. Only downside we found was a smell of smoke from downstairs as we had to keep window open as room was warm.

"Decent Room in a Pub"
I had a two night stay in this friendly pub. It was however, as I expected, quite noisy until 11.30pm. There was also the noise from good spirited revellers on the high street outside. Once I got used to the noise it was ok. My second night was better than the first.
