Nice idyllic place next to canal and countryside.Excellent accommodation, modern and very clean. Canal offers nice walks along foot path. Pub nearby. The only negative is the nearby motorway that unfortunately provides a back ground rumble all night long but you soon get accustomised to it.

Near to wedding venueI stayed here to attend a wedding venue further up the road. They had put me in a room away from the main hotel and as a single woman, I asked to be accommodated inside the hotel, which they duly did. I was early than the check time, but they were really good and found me a room so I could get changed ...

Reasonable hotel for price - parking a bit ad hoc.We booked this hotel for a one night stay on return from Scotland, it was not essential that we stayed at St Anne's. The parking was limited and we had to park, with the blessing of the check in staff, in the disabled space. We received notification that the St Anne's marathon was to take place on ...

Great staff let down by age of hotelOk, firstly, the staff here are amazing and so friendly, they are a real credit to the company and the location is also ideal and they allow dogs to stay for £5/day/visit. But, the hotel does need some serious TLC and the beds in particular are really uncomfortable, to the point where we were in ...

Beautiful peaceful locationReally enjoyed our stay. Only downside was waiting an hour for our breakfast. Not enough staff on - only 3 for about 40 people as their had been a wedding on the day before.
