With the price of the room, I would of expected a higher standard of finish as in a shower that had some power in it, a tv that worked, a remote that wasn't sticky! And wifi would of been nice

Excellent accommodation, modern and very clean. Canal offers nice walks along foot path. Pub nearby. The only negative is the nearby motorway that unfortunately provides a back ground rumble all night long but you soon get accustomised to it.
Having to leave your pet dog or cat behind in the care of friends or with a professional kennel can be heartrending when you go on holiday. As this beloved animal has become a part of the family it's like leaving one of the kids behind while you go off to have a good time, and many for holidaymakers it can take the shine off their trip. However, the situation with regards to pets and hotel accommodation is changing across Britain. These days, when you visit a county like Lancashire you have a choice of excellent hotels that will be more than happy to welcome both you and your pet, and go out of their way to make their break as enjoyable as your own. Pet-friendly hotels in Lancashire aren’t a new phenomenon, but their numbers are growing and you can find them all across the county.
Booking in to a Lancashire pet-friendly hotel such as Heywood House in Barnoldswick or The Imperial Hotel in Blackpool, you'll find a range of facilities and services aimed at your four-legged family member. The staff are trained in the arts of handling domesticated creatures, and have the ability and confidence to put them at their ease. With special snacks and treats on offer, your dog will have a great time, and will really appreciate being allowed to holiday with the rest of the family. Lancashire abounds with lovely landscapes and wide open spaces, the perfect terrain for getting out and about with a dog. In your pet-friendly hotel in Lancashire you'll also be able to let him off the leash in an exercise area on-site.
When it's claimed that Lancashire makes a great family destination, the implication is that this refers to parents and children. But dogs and cats are just as valued family members these days and it is becoming increasingly common for them to be taken along too. Lancashire pet-friendly hotels offer the perfect accommodation for you all.
