Great staff let down by age of hotelOk, firstly, the staff here are amazing and so friendly, they are a real credit to the company and the location is also ideal and they allow dogs to stay for £5/day/visit. But, the hotel does need some serious TLC and the beds in particular are really uncomfortable, to the point where we were in ...

One night stay to visit friends I have stayed here before and it is a decent hotel. Very friendly staff and a nice pool, gym, steam room and sauna. Just starting to look a little tired and worn in places and could do with an update. However prices are keen so must not grumble too much. I will come again

Hotel close to UnversityUsually very satisfied but not so much this time around. It is a small matter but we felt that my enquiry about leaving my mobile phone charger wasn't taken seriously. Which made this a problem for contacting family on travel arrangements.

However, the situation with regards to pets and hotel accommodation is changing across Britain. These days, when you visit a county like Lancashire you have a choice of excellent hotels that will be more than happy to welcome both you and your pet, and go out of their way to make their break as enjoyable as your own.
