in need of revamp

Posted 16-Jan-2017
This hotel is very dated no wifi in rooms, decor desperate for an update, quilts that are thinner than blankets, coffee and tea etc very poor quality, but for value for money I suppose it's not too bad if you get it for a reduced price. It does have a cinema that is free and an arcade and the entertainment is fantastic, although I do think it starts a bit late

Great stay

Posted 13-Jan-2017
Pros: The staff were great and the hotel was quiet.
Cons: Reception staff need to tell guests more info.
Location: Sea front view and 5 mins from everything do in Blackpool
Stayed for 2 nights with my partner, Hotel is perfect if your on a budget. Checking in was nice and simple but a little more info about the hotel would of been better i kept having to go and ask questions. Bedrooms are ok for what you pay and the bathroom all good too. Overall i will be staying here again. Thanks

Close to Sandcastle Waterpark

Posted 08-Jan-2017
Hotel itself looks old and the carpets worn out in some places. The floor squeaky as you walk through the corridor. The room itself was not bad booked a double room but was given room with double bed and single bed with sea view which was great as I had a 2 year old with us. For the price paid £28 per night I found it reasonable. The room was tidy, provided with towels and small piece of soap. Would recommend bringing own shower gel and hair dryer as none was provided. Found bits of hairs in bathtub that my husband had to clean which was not very nice. Swimming pool good size with jacuzzi steam room and sauna, however need to pay £2 per session per person which was not mentioned at time of booking. Overall for the price can't expect any better. The hotel is in need for refurbishment which I am sure alot of people have already mentioned.

First class experience for the price

Posted 06-Jan-2017
Pros: Nothing was too much trouble for the excellent staff I came into contact with.
Cons: The hotel itself is a little bit tired by everything else made up for that in my experience
Location: The hotel is very central for most amenities and on the tram route.
I stayed for one night and found the hotel very handy for all amenities and in a very nice part of the promenade

What a difference from another....imperious hotel stayed in a few weeks before.the norbrek is a cold dank old and noisy hotel...doors that bang shut late waking guests up.ancillarystaff loan is you sleep late.leave towels outside your door if you put do not disturb on door.also you pay your account on arrival. Not on departure like most hotels...one word...TERRIBLE. .
