"Nice idyllic place next to canal and countryside."
Excellent accommodation, modern and very clean. Canal offers nice walks along foot path. Pub nearby. The only negative is the nearby motorway that unfortunately provides a back ground rumble all night long but you soon get accustomised to it.

"Perfect luxurious pad exactly as on advert."
It was perfect thoroughly enjoyed my stay so comfortable and easy to access places of interest. Boulton is a be as dutiful village with awesome surprising k y very lively night life. Friendly locals too. The only down was the noise from train station which is conveniently opposite the a poo apartments, but this could be tolerated given the comfortable apartments. I highly recommend this place. Awesome xxx

"Good quality hotel, things need improving "
The room was lovely and clean and the reception staff were very nice and helpful. The only things that would have improved our stay would've been if there were some nice grounds to walk round and also the bar on the evening was ridiculous. It was like they were all training staff. It took us 20 mins to get served and there were two couples before us. Also they didn't know how to make a snowball which was on the menu, I had to tell them. Also the bar had a terrible smell like beer had been spilt and not cleaned up properly. It smelled like off beer. I had just proposed to my girlfriend this night and so wanted a posh romantic meal, the food was amazing but the large table full of young teenagers screaming and shouting whilst people were trying to have a nice meal really put us off. Especially when they were all stood up talking right behind my back whilst I was eating and they were messing about.

"The hotel is in a great location "
Overall the hotel felt welcoming and staff were pleasant and interactive. Our room (160) felt a bit tired overall for example the four poster bed (with pink polka dot fabric) felt a bit out of place in terms of the overall décor which for some reason had Humphrey Bogart artwork, again which seemed a bit dated and oddly themed. There was no heater/central heating in the bathroom which was poorly insulated and felt cold especially during a winter stay. Toiletries were from a dispenser and felt cheap and basic. Tea tray was adequate but no special touches for example a small pack of biscuits which would have been a nice touch. Breakfast was buffet style and generally contained the usual standards however the yogurts had just been put out in the plastic wrapper and it all felt just a bit under dressed to make it more appetising.

"Superb country hotel "
Country hotel set in beautiful grounds, but modern and comfortable inside, friendly helpful staff and delicious food made for a relaxing short break. This was made even more special by a large delightful room and the most comfortable bed I have ever slept on.

"Lovely warm welcome, great location"
We stayed for 2 nights. Free on site parking is a bonus, you don't need your car while staying in Blackpool, buy an all day pass for the trams and buses and let them take the strain. There is a tram stop across from the hotel into the centre so the hotel has a great location. We received a warm welcome from Paul who showed us to our room. Drinks in the hotel bar are inexpensive , after our night out we would stop by for a night cap. Breakfast in the morning is superb. We had a very comfortable stay and would definitely return.
