Excellent location food very good. Staff really helpful. Excellent value for money
Nice stay. Nice, comfy and clean appartment. You need to pay for towels if you want to use swimming pool. Breakfast only on Friday, Saturday and Sunday so thats a big minus.
A decent stay with everything ok. A comfortable room, clean and well maintained it just lacked the “deluxe” aspect I had expected. Just too plain and not inspiring although nothing wrong as such. Restaurant food was a little bland for me but I only ate one meal so might just had picked the wrong ...
Yes, this hotel is in dire need of refurb and they’ve got the builders in at the moment, but I knew both facts before I booked. My room was tatty but perfectly comfortable, quiet and good value, with generous-sized bathroom and plentiful hot water (heating system VERY hot, as other travellers have ...
Beautiful Victorian hotel with ample parking and easy accessibility to the tram network. Fantastic breakfast options. Evening menu that changes daily and very well priced at £20 for two courses (other options available). Afternoon tea is a real treat. Spa and gym a welcomed option to relax. Staff ...
I don't often bother to write reviews but will make an exception in this case. The staff were friendly and helpful from the the first time they opened the door. Offered a cup of tea and biscuits (free) in the lounge while we waited 5 mins for our room key as we were early. Overall the ethos was client ...
This was a delightful bed-and-breakfast. A turn of the 20th century estate converted nicely, decorated with many wonderful pieces, and a host who was extremely accommodating made this an absolutely "do again" experience.
Lancashire is a popular holiday destination for a whole range of reasons. Tucked into the northwest region of England, this county is often regarded as a staging post on the way to the Lake District to the north. But pause a while and you'll discover that it has many attractions of its own, and en route visitors should try stopping over for a few nights and enjoying everything the county has to offer. The landscapes are fabulous, popular with walkers and cyclists, and there's a long coastline with many excellent seaside resorts to the west. There are many different types of accommodation too, including guesthouses, hotels and B&Bs. It's easy to find good Lancashire hotels with WiFi these days, for entertainment, keeping in touch or doing business.
Lancashire has a good level of broadband provision, so wherever you're based you can expect reasonable download speeds. Obviously in bigger towns such as Blackpool and Lancaster the overall coverage is above average, but even in remote parts you'll find that hotels with WiFi in Lancashire fare pretty well in terms of connectivity. This is good news for kids especially, as they'd usually be lost without their gadgets and social networking paraphernalia! The secret to having an enjoyable break, especially with teenagers, is to plug them in and just leave them alone, and most Lancashire hotels with WiFi offer free access to the internet at least in their public areas.
But in addition to keeping your kids happy, the internet is important for keeping in touch with loved ones and, if you're a travelling salesman or executive for example, for effectively carrying on with your work when you're away from the office. Lancashire is a popular county for conferences and there are many different venues that specialise in hosting trade shows and exhibitions. Good internet access is essential to their continued successful operation and visiting delegates too need well-connected facilities. That's why Lancashire hotels with WiFi provision of top quality attract the business community in particular, and have additional corporate facilities to complement this.
