Good breakfast

Posted 09-Dec-2017
Great breakfast choices - good price. In Preston, there are not many breakfast places (city wakes up at 9). Eat at the hotel - best choice.

Just fine

Literally used it to crash one night after missing my last train home. Fine but pricey at £70!

All over positive experience. Took a little while to check in as staff member had to accompany me to my room to check it was ready. Issue was there was only 2 staff members and they had to man bar and check in and take me to my room! They were very friendly and lovely about the whole thing. My phone rang randomly and just the once at around 6am which startled me as it is quite loud! Not sure what happened there but wasn't the end of the world. I mentioned it while checking out and the lady apologised.

Small but very nice

Posted 04-Oct-2017
Pros: It is a name we trust from our travels. It was clean, and the staff was pleasant.
Cons: The room size was very small, as was the bed. It is normal for the area, but we are used to at least a queen sized bed.
We had a cozy little room with a double bed.(not queen, not king) #602 Our room was very clean and fresh. The bathtub was a little awkward as it sat high, and you needed to step up into it. The room was about the size of a cruise ship stateroom, not a lot of extra space. Breakfast was plentiful and tasty. Staff was really friendly and helpful. I would stay here again.

Visiting relatives and watching football

Posted 03-Oct-2017 on Hotels
Chose this hotel for its location reasonably close to the Preston football ground. It proved to be a very nice hotel with friendly and helpful reception staff. Only a mile away (easy walking) from the football ground and also very close to the town centre, which was a bonus given some inclement weather. Room was a good size, comfortable and clean. Breakfast choice was excellent and staff very friendly. Parking can be something of a lottery as spaces are very limited for the size of the hotel but we were fortunate to find a space. Stayed 3 nights and would return.

Good overnight stay

Posted 20-Sep-2017 on Hotels
Room fine and very comfortable; reception staff very obliging. Decent meal in bar (restaurant closed) though service a bit abrupt - I found the bar area very chilly; it also contained two silent but irritating TV screens. Convenient for rail station (10 mins walk) and bus station is next door.

Pros: Good basic hotel for one night.
Cons: Room was a bit warm.

My partner & I stayed one night in this hotel. Everything was to our satisfaction. We would definitely use again if we were in the area.
