Good hotel, excellent staff.

Pros: The staff and facilities made this stay so good
Location: The location is close but not too close to central Blackpool, a nice 20 minute stroll away. Tram stops close by to get to the South end.
The hotel staff all made us feel so welcome. The hotel facilities were excellent and we took full advantage of those during our stay. The breakfast was vast and varied. Overall excellent experience all round, good for kids and adults alike.

February break

Posted 18-Feb-2017
We had a comfortable stay and the staff were very helpful. Even moved us to a much nicer room without me asking. I was disappointed that there were no seats round the pool to sit and relax and found the changing rooms clean but dated.

Very welcoming staff!

Posted 17-Feb-2017
Pros: Leisure facilities and staff.
Cons: Pillows :)
Location: About 10-15 minutes walk from Central Pier with Blackpool Tower etc. Easy enough to catch a tram outside the hotel. Parking was straightforward.
We arrived early and Reception staff were very helpful - advised they'd have our room ready earlier than anticipated (we were offered a newly refurbished room but my friend preferred a bath, so we were opted for one of the older rooms). The pool was great, as was the steam and sauna. Beds were comfy (pillows a bit on the hard side but that's personal preference) and the breakfast was very good. Again, super helpful staff with a dedicated and very attentive waitress for a number of tables. Very friendly. Would highly recommend it - just for the staff! I'm guessing it's a good place to work with decent management, otherwise staff would tend to be less helpful. Many thanks - we'll be back :)

Lovely Hotel shame about the guests

Posted 17-Feb-2017
Pros: The hotel, the staff, the restaurant and food were fantastic
Cons: thicker walls , educated respectful people
Location: seafront at Blackpool walking distance to everything
From the moment we arrived, the hotel and staff were fabulous. Our drink in the bar and meal were fabulous complimented by the professional staff who were extremely courteous and helpful. This was only marred by some guests who thought they were obviously dossing at their friends house, stretched sideways over seats, feet on the upholstry. It got worse, our neighbouring hotel guest and his 'partner' had no idea about the respect, for themselves or the other guests. After three hours of banging shouting and howling as they had sex I had to call reception at 1am to complain. Security intervened and asked them to be quiet after they suffered a torrent of F-words from them. 1 hour later they start again but we pass out from exhaustion only to be woken at 8am by thm having sex again and my five year old asking me if there were dogs next door!! As we left in the morning to begin a 300 mile journey home after having very little sleep, the receptionist said she would give us a free night because of out trouble, which was a sincere and welcome gesture. ..... I am still waitng for that to arrive, but...... it was appreciated.

Nice hotel at the heart of Blackpool .

Posted 15-Feb-2017
All the family loved the hotel and they wanted to stay more days. Thanks to the friendly staff and great meals with reasonable price, our stay was great. We are disappointed though the hotel require refurbishment and the TV is old with no free view . The mattress was like a stone . The beauty salon was closed for days and you need to call then in their mobile phone . The swimming pool is not up to the standard . We like to thank all the staff who were friendly and helpful. I have never seen a hotel with such great staff. The dinner with the desserts were great. It was a marvellous experience. I recommend for everyone to book this Hilton hotel if you are to stay around Blackpool .

Good location

Posted 13-Feb-2017
Pros: Staff and location
Cons: Fittings, carpets in room stained
Location: 400 yards from the tower
Room a bit shabby- stain on the carpet and bathroom door handle loose- took 5 mins to work out how the shower worked. Otherwise clean and tidy

Nice hotel

Posted 11-Feb-2017
Pros: Friendly staff.
Location: Blackpool tower is nearby.
The hotel was nice and close to bus and tram stations. It's right next to the promenade and the beach.
