Pros: The check out procedure was simple.
Cons: Improvements to food mainly.
Food in resteraunt is buffet style - appeared to have been left for so long that it was lukewarm at best and not appetising at all. 3 lifts serve 8 floors however one of the lifts was out of order so only two lifts which resulted in wait times >10minutes.

Pros: The reception was very good, the food, swimming pool.
Cons: Your guests should not be charged parking fee, look for other ways to make that money, and please vaccum clean the rooms during stay.
Location: The location nice and quiet, things to do are all within range.
We as a family really enjoyed our stay at Hilton hotel blackpool, and i recommended this to another family, not just that, i will also visit again.

Modern Hotel with bus stop right outside

Pros: Nice modern rooms very clean
Cons: Cannot think of anything
Location: A short bus ride into town. It would have been a nice walk, if a long one, but I had sprained my ankle. Not far to tower or pleasure beach.
We stayed here for 2 nights in a family room with out 8 year old grand daughter. We had a lovely big room at the back which was very quiet. Due to the problems with the water there were water coolers on every floor which was very good as our grand daughter drinks lots of water. The bus stop is right outside the hotel so we did not need to use our car. The breakfasts were excellent and plenty of variety. The staff were very friendly apart from a frosty faced lady receptionist who booked us in. Would not hesitate to stay here again.

No water in the room!!

Regarding the water situation, yes there is a problem with tap water, the answer for this hotel is to place one water cooler butt outside of each lift, thats one per floor, this ran out 2 times on our stay, every floor from 7th down to 2 had none. The hilton should provide bottle water free in the rooms, no, no they do not. They just pass the buck blaming the water companies. Reception dont want to know. Family room with 2 kids, no clean water, no drinking chocolate, instead you have to walk half way round the hotel to the lifts to collect water in plastic cups, then make your way back to your room. Rooms are adequate but not as you would expect from a Hilton, maybe 3 star at best. Beds for kids are bumpy and poor. Food was however first class. Lifts take ages. Will not stay here again. Hilton standard is poor if you stay in Blackpool.

Cons: Free Wifi in rooms
Location: It took us 15 minutes to walk to Blackpool Tower where the start of the attractions are or catch the tram outside the hotel (5 minutes)
Nice hotel, room was nice. Shame the wifi and movie channels were extra, but apart from that no problems what so ever. Newspaper delivered each morning. Nice breakfast each morning - buffet style which I prefer. Couldn't comment on lunch or dinner because we ate out.

Booked for two nights very disappointed HILTON BUDGET HOTEL ---the hotel corridor and room was filled with cigarette smoke filtering into the rooms making us sick coughing and clothes smelling of smoke complained to the staff they sent a person to our room with a perfumed spray. We told the assistant manager we would be leaving checking out next day and wanted a FULL refund we were told he would issue a full refund but could not do as it was booked through EXPEDIA . Next morning more cigarette smoke in the room . Checked out after only one day was given the managers business card for us to email him as he has gone to a meeting quite suddenly and could not see us ! We contact EXPEDIA and registered our complaint and a full refund STILL WAITING

Hotel was clean and tidy, really good swimming pool, gym etc, and not too far from tram stop to town. All in all good stay from mon to fri.

Rude staff at counter a Eastern European guy with attitude...... Great start as I had driven 5 hours and wanted to chevk in early with kids which was agreed over the phone. Once at recep one collegiate said should be ready in 10 mins, after returning in 10 mins I faced this rude unconsidered individual whos telling me in going to be half hr. Beds uncom, room recor really old needs to be more modern for a Hilton Stay

Across the road from the beach, bit of a walk to the pleasure beach but can take the tram instead, staff were friendly, room was clean, would recommend to others.
