Location: Location is good because of the trams.
For the price we paid, the hotel was 'just'. Unfortunately for most of the time 2 lifts were out of order due to replacement and maintenance. This obviously didn't help the queuing for the lifts. It was often quicker to use the stairs which was ok for us but for anyone needing the 4th floor and higher not good. For dinner we had the carvery. Would someone please tell the chef how to cook roast potatoes, worst I have ever had, no hint of brown on the potatoe, hopeless. The chef would have had to try to cook them so bad it couldn't just happen. Swimming pool was good.

Location: Good location
Lifts were being upgraded whilst we were there so lots of problems getting a lift in peak times. Staff were really good, cheerful and extremely helpful.

Not what I expect from a Hilton

Posted 10-Oct-2016
Pros: The location and the staff were lovely.
Cons: Accommodation, Decor, Food in the evening, consideration of location of room with children when parties are on.
We have stayed in many Hilton Hotels but the Hilton in Blackpool was very disappointing. I firstly must say the staff were superb very friendly and couldn't do enough for you but that really was the only positive apart from the promenade location and car parking. The room was awful the beds were lie camp beds and we hardly slept a wink.... we chose this hotel not only as we thought it would be a better class than the others in Blackpool but also as it was all the way down the end of the promenade it would be quiet but no we had music blaring out till around 1am and when you have a young child the location of the room should of been considered. I requested a Sea View and got a car park, the room had no mini bar, no complimentary water to which I thought would be basics when you are paying these rates!! There was iron marks on the furniture in the room, stains on the ceilings from water leaks and generally the hotel was in poor condition. On the Saturday night we ate at the carvery which to be honest my Nan has better food served in her nursing home and at £21.95 per person and £10 for children it was a complete rip off. As i say the staff were lovely and when we informed the manager of our issues the following morning she was excellent and very understanding. I think this Hotel needs to have an overhaul and the food to be stepped up a few levels in presentation and quality.

Great location but disappointing condition

Posted 10-Oct-2016
Pros: Great seafront location. Modern looking from outside. 15 mins walk from Blackpool Tower. Good parking. Decent buffet breakfast.
Cons: Room was tired. Broken light with wires exposed. Bed very uncomfortable. Walls very thin. Check in desk didn't have enough staff on at key times.
Location: Blackpool Tower. Beach. Town Centre. Shopping. Pier. Dance halls.

Perfectly situated with great staff

Pros: Staff
Lovely pool, steam room and sauna. Good sea views from room and bar and a quality breakfast. Staff extremely nice and helpful and couldn't do enough for you. Terrible nights sleep due to faulty mattress but duty manager resolved the matter and we will return.
