Convienent for the air show
Ok hotel, not in my mind as hiltons of the past, check in staff very poor. Got room late afternoon, toilet flush didn't work, phoned down to be told someone would come, 30 mins later no one, tried phoning again just rang until it cut off tried again same result, got my mobile and called the hotel number, no answer. Went down and asked for the manager, he arrived and listened to my complaint came up and agreed flush was faulty, but as hotel was full he couldn't do anything other than offer a room down the hall that was undergoing maintenance but the toilet was ok. We said we would have to put up with the poor flushing toilet.
We used the hotel restaurant in the evening and the duty manager gave us a bottle of wine on the table for us, I would say he acted as I would expect Hilton to react, the rest of the staff need some serious training.
