Great location.

Posted 24-Apr-2017
Pros: Safe Staff Service location
Cons: Bathroom
Location: Just staying one night for a concert at the Winter Gardens, excellent location 15 minutes steady walk
Within easy walking distance of most if not all attractions. The Hotel staff are very attentive and caring and cannot do enough for you, which we found quite refreshing. We found our particular room, a little tired, particularly the bathroom, although we had a great view of the sea front and the beach area. The room was clean and adequate and you felt safe in your surroundings. The breakfast was of excellent quality and again also the service. Would certainly stay again.

Hilton Blackpool

Posted 24-Apr-2017
Location of hotel excellent and staff very friendly. However, the room I stayed in has become tired and in need of some refurbishment. Price for room was on the expensive time but I appreciate paying also for where the hotel is situated.

outside appearance deceptive

Posted 22-Apr-2017
Pros: Upgraded rooms were very impressive.
Cons: A little pricey for Blackpool.
Location: Good location close to beach and short walk to the tower.
Staff exceptional - very enjoyable stay. Bar prices for wine expensive. Breakfast buffet varied and served by friendly polite and efficient staff.

Conveniently located for the sites

Posted 15-Apr-2017
Staff were very polite and helpful (Sally at Reception was above average- extremely helpful ) . Very disappointed with the appearance of the hotel- it was very tired and the whole place needs a face lift - especially the bedrooms and bathrooms on 6th floor!!! lifts take forever to come - one guest told us one of the lifts had not worked for 3 years!!!! Restaurant food was good if the food had just been put out - otherwise the hot buffet food was cold !

accommodation in need of urgent update

Posted 12-Apr-2017
Pros: staff & location
Cons: accommodation was sub-standard for a Hilton hotel, worst Hilton we have ever been to.
Location: location was good, just let down by poor outdated family room. just as well we had plenty to do away from the hotel & weren't tied to it.
good location, friendly staff, good food, terrible rooms ruined our family experience.

Great Blackpool hotel

Posted 12-Apr-2017
Pros: Location and staff
Cons: Changing rooms could do with a make over
Hotel on the front, 10 mins walk into the main centre, on the tram line and parking on site at the cost of £5. Pool isn't huge but we were the only people in it in the evening and the morning. Good selection for breakfast and you can sit and look out onto the sea front if there are tables free. Reception staff really helpful and very welcoming.

Overnight with grandchild

Posted 12-Apr-2017
Pros: Location and food. Friendly staff.
Cons: Proper preparation of the room before guests checked-in.
Reception was good, restaurant and food good but room was not fully prepared when we checked in. We had booked a family room and expected a bed for our grandchild but after we checked-in there was only the double bed made up and no single bed. There was a couch in the room which was later, after a request made by us for the extra bed, made up with a sheet, pillow and duvet but not a single bed. In the end it was satisfactory since it was only a single night booking but we would not be happy if we were having a extended stay. The hotel overall was looking rather tired and in need of some refurbishment, eg. new furniture in lounge area, and new mattresses. My wife woke up with an aching back.

Terrible food and poor hygiene through out hotel.

Posted 12-Apr-2017
Very poor standard from food to cleaners. Very rude cleaners and very dirty swiming, sunna facilities.
