A Superb Hotel

Posted 07-Jun-2017
Pros: Google search
Cons: Maybe during school holidays and busy periods...the breakfast wait.
Location: One word...Blackpool!
We were meeting family in nearby Blackpool and being older wanted to stay at Lythsm St Anne's rather than BP. This hotel has everything; pool, spa, kid's cinema, play zone...in fact (did I say) everything! The room we had, was not a family room but was larger than many family rooms, had a balcony with seating, a wet room shower, a large TV in fact, once again, every facility. The staff were attentive and helpful. Bus and tram transport is easy and saves moving car. And if you don't want to eat in hotel a short walk to lots of eating choices. If there were any down sides it would be parking ...during the day you may need to park on street and then move the car when the opportunity arises. And breakfast, because it was half term week, involved queuing for a table, but hey...that meant we talked to other guests. All in all a really excellent family hotel..even the Manager (who is one of the family) came to change a failed lightbulb.

Pros: everything
Cons: olive tree barasserie
Location: location good
we have been to this hotel on several occasions as we love it . On this visit we had booked a basic room and got an upgrade when we were there for a very good price. we were put in room 51 which was very large and had a terrace as was on the ground floor. We loved it and will return again without doubt.

Good trip, fab service

Posted 15-Apr-2017
We were given a room with a very poor view. We asked if there were any sea view available which there was and we were promptly giventhe room . The room had a leaky radiator valve and was dusty. We contacted reception and within 5-10 minutes we had house and maintenance teams in the room . We couldn't ask for better service . They were excellent and even brought us a fridge into the room also. The breakfast was good and the facilities like the pool were good. Overall , a very enjoyable trip with great customer service .

Great Location!

Posted 05-Apr-2017
Pros: Everything!
Cons: Signage to our room (357)
Location: Right on the promenade, opposite Promenade Gardens and near the Pier. Just around the corner from the shops and bus routes to Blackpool and Putnam.
Our first stay in St Anne's, very impressed by this hotel. Staff welcoming and friendly, room on the third floor spacious and clean, morning breakfasts plentiful and tasty. Restaurant situated downstairs in the basement but light and airy. Entertainment in Indigo, the bar, in the evenings.

Lovely breakfast and friendly breakfast staff.

Why I wouldn't recommend this hotel is for one simple reason, on checking out I was told that I couldn't book a further stay at the hotel that being Sat 27 /05/17 as two night stays were only available i was not wholly convinced by the smiling female receptionist ? So checked on late rooms, trivago, etc all had one night stays available for the above date , something not right there ? Won't be staying again.
