Fab hotel for families with children

Posted 25-Aug-2015
Pros: Good sized family room, comfy beds. Decent sized pool and facilities. Liked that it had facilities for the children if needed.
Cons: Air con or fans in the room.
Stayed for 1 night at the Dalmeny. Nice spacious room for 4. Clean and nicely presented with comfy beds too. Great facilities on site for the children , although we only used the pool as we were visiting family, but if we had stayed longer I'm sure we would have used them. I would have used the spa too!

Excellent hotel. Clean, modern, with a beautiful pool, kids evening entertainment, even a kids cinema! Staff helpful, rooms v clean and brilliant location. Would only stay here again if i visited St Annes again.

Hotel was great location near the beach.

Hotel great location near beach. Shops and pubs restaurants walking distance. Lift in hotel straight to ground floor and to lower floor for breakfast. The view we had from the room stunning. Bus journey to Blackpool was easy. £10 all day ticket family of 4 2 adults and 2 kids for bus and tram in Blackpool.

Family friendly with swimming pool

Posted 10-Aug-2015
One night stay and had everything we needed. Paid room only and was quite expensive but probably only because Lytham Festival was on. Hotel had nice pool which is why we opted instead of other cheaper accomodation in the area. Overall happy with stay.

Was lovely staying at the dalmeny hotel, great views out to sea with lots of entertainment for all ages. The swimming pool and gym was a great experience too. Will definitely be going back

Good family hotel

Posted 20-Jul-2015
Great restaurant, friendly staff, pool open all day, cinema room showing films all day and spacious rooms. I did notice there were less activities on offer for kids during the day than when I went previously. It seems the recession has hit even Dalmeny!!

Good hotel close to amenities but still quiet

Posted 15-Jul-2015
Pros: Size and cleanliness of the room
Cons: More information about what and where we could eat
Location: Blackpool Pleasure Beach and the St Annes Pier
Hotel was very clean and room extremely spacious. However there seem to be confusion as to what we could eat where and the bar menu did not have much choice. There seemed to be a lot of staff in the dining room however didn't seem to be very well organised.
