"This was a great house to stay in for a big group. The host was VERY RESPONSIVE. We had one issue with the shower and she sent a handyman and it was fixed within an hour. The kitchen is well stocked. The beds are comfortable. The deer come eat off the apple tree and turkeys come by to visit. The views from the balconies are wonderful!"

"Excellent cabin with beautiful views, wildlife walking through in the evening and very quiet. Bed was very comfortable and the bathroom was outstanding with an awesome shower and separate large tub. Air conditioning in the bedroom was appreciated. Kitchen was well stocked with lots of space. Would stay again."

"This is a great unique house with a lot to offer for the price / plenty big for 4 people. It’s only minutes to both resorts which we were at with friends / great option if you dint want to “rough it” at the campgrounds / cabins there. Zach was avail anytime I texted him and house was everything expected plus - little trail goes up to top of rock next to it with picnic table on top for views of entire lake / valleys - great sunset cocktail or sunrise coffee House is well stocked with everything you really need - bonus bottle of red wine too with popcorn We had a few days of smoke and hot weather - this house has foot thick concrete walls with earth covering (I’ve never felt so safe ) - if there was no smoke opening the kitchen window in morning cools it down for rest of the day - with the smoke having a small portable AC unit or mini split AC would be awesome - only improvement I could offer - it’s wasn’t a deal breaker just used to AC The value for the money really is outstanding and we would stay again % -Thanks! "Everyone is so friendly and outgoing, like you've been friends for years! Sorry, im not good with names, but the husband even came to our cabin and showed us which fishing lures to use for what type of fish and rigged up a pole for us!!! That's going above and beyond!!! Our dogs had a good time too, especially the one, she now Loves to swim!! Thank you again for a fun time catching fish off your beautiful dock!!"

"The Cedar Cottage is the cleanest place we have ever stayed. Floors, counters, bathrooms, linens, all spotless!It’s also super quiet. Sleeping in is easy, it doesn’t hurt that the beds are also comfy.Host was very accommodating, we had to change our dates, no problem. Check in information was sent well in advance and check out was a breeze.We went to Republic to ride our bicycles on the Ferry County Rail Trail. There was plenty of secure space for bikes in the evenings and having laundry machines was really nice. The days were in the 90’s so our bike kit was really in need of washing and not stinking the car up on the way home. Due to biking, we didn’t have time to check out Lake Curlew but it looked inviting.Talking with our hosts, they had installed an A/C unit right before our arrival. It was super nice to return to the cool although right after dinner we would turn it off and not turn it on till the next day. If it hadn’t been smoky due to forest fires one could have opened windows and with the ceiling fans been quite comfortable.We have more bike routes to explore in the future and hope to be lucky enough to return to this fantastic property."
