I would give this resort top marks however one area really lets them down. The staff at the waterline. Muay and the girls in pad thai restaurant excellent friendly beautiful happy people and the food is great. Colours restaurant for breakfast Tim and Dar and the team happy friendly smiling and the food and cappuccino excellent. Then there is Waterline. Staff appear yo be either bored or not intetested. This is the only bar on the water, pool or beach that doesn't come too you to offer you food or drinks. They would rather just look at their ph or talk amongs themselves, a real let down when the rest of the resort is so special.

The place is absolutely beautiful! Arrived at night, all sorts of candles and lights all over the resort. The nice receptionist gave us a cold towel and a drink to refresh ourselves.
The room and the general decor is very tasteful, Thai influenced. The resort has a small beach, good for a quick dip, with sun loungers. There are 2 pools, well maintained, a beautiful garden with buddhas, benches and lovely decors, and a games room with free pool (billiards).
Breakfast has plenty of variety and good quality food. The restaurant is located on the rocks by the sea - amazing view!! Can't imagine a better place to start the day!
Hotel meals and drinks are a bit pricey - Singh beer for 150 baht + 7% tax.
Located in a quiet area, but its easy enough to get to Lamai nightlife and restaurants.
All and all, highly recommended if you want to stay in a quiet location with a bit of luxury and really pretty setting.
We had a very nice stay at this hotel, the staff were welcoming from beginning to end, even seeing us to our departing taxi and waving goodbye, they were always genuinely very nice and respectful. The rooms were very nice and clean although a bit open plan if you were staying with a friend rather than a partner. the hotel bar, restaurant and pool area were very good having a see view and being on the beach and all very clean although we only ate dinner there on one occasion which was there steak night and did not find it very good and it was pricey. Overall we made a good choice of hotel.

We stayed 5 nights and we just relaxed around the pool and really enjoyed our balcony, that was a plus. That was the perfect vacation for us before going back to Canada.
The massages are wonderful , don't hesitate to go more than one time.
Very helpful and kind staff.
I have stayed at Banyan Tree resorts in Bangkok and now Koh Samui and I can't speak highly enough of the staff friendliness and overall amazing experience at these hotels.
The only minor downside was we specifically requested and booked an ocean view room which it could be argued we did have, however the ocean was only really visible through the tree line and on the far left of the room view. We were in Villa A10.
Just returned from a memorable trip for 9 days at the Beluga. Fantastic secluded location right on the beach. The hotel staff are fabulous and couldn't do enough for us thank you so much. The attention to detail is fantastic they are always one step ahead. The restaurant is wonderful with a large variety of dishes and very reasonably priced. Cocktails too are not to be missed!! Easy access to Lamai by foot or if you prefer you can get a taxi from the road 2 minutes walk away.
Pom arranged taxis for us and car hire and was always around to help and give advice.
This is a jewel and I would recommend to all.
Roman, Pom and the team thank you so much for making our stay so memorable.
I so miss the view from our room each morning.
Fantastic hotel, brilliant, friendly staff, awesome location. Close to great food and not far from the island's regular haunts. We were able to book the Ocean View Pool Villa of our choice, which made our stay 10/10. The villa was spacious, well designed and made us feel as if we were (almost) alone on the island. I would highly recommend this hotel.

We loved this place as we loved the comfy sofa couches on the beach near the bar/restaurant. The downside was that one grumpy staff lady was not happy that we bought our coconuts from the Hawkers at 1/3 the price of the hotel and we felt very uncomfortable thereafter
I stayed here during low season and it was just the nice break in my travels that I needed: lovely pool for a dip with a gorgeous view of the beach, laidback vibe, nice clean room. I get that if you were travelling here at high season you might find the higher prices make the conditions seem less worth it, but I suppose that's the trouble with travelling at peak times! I found everything I needed just fine, from the functioning a/c and hot water, comfortable bed, and good (and not terribly unreasonably priced) restaurant food. I ate other meals at local restaurants just down the road too. It's outside the action of Lamai Beach, so if you're looking for a girlie bar out your hotel room door, this is not your place. If you're looking for a chilled out slice of serene Samui, this is an affordable option with all the essentials covered.
The second-most popular beach on Ko Samui, southeast-facing Lamai Beach is a good alternative to Chaweng Beach if you’re looking for a stretch of sand just off the main drag. “Grandmother” and “Grandfather” Rocks on the south end of the beach were carved by wind and rain into creative shapes, and within their crevasses are inviting turquoise bathing pools.
