The hotel is located an easy 10-15 minutes walk from the main eating/shopping area. As with other reviews, the best thing about the hotel is its quiet and relatively isolated character. Staff are friendly and good, room clean but not the newest. Lots of space in room and our 2 kids had a ball in the very nice pool. The grounds are well kept and breakfast selection and standard also good. If the short walk is not a deal-breaker, very recommended as a quiet retreat for a restful time.
the staff was so service minded, very nice and helpful, our room was gorgeous, brand new, and comfortable. the hotel was very quiet and peaceful, breakfast buffet was nice and interesting. you have to cross the street to go to the beach, and that's the only bad thing i have to say about this lovely hotel.
Manathai Resort Koh Samui, the luxurious boutique style hotel is conveniently situated on Lamai Beach, Koh Samui, a region …More
This resort is an oasis in a paradise.
I have stayed in many resorts here. Non come close to Sense Resort.
This facility and this service at this price is just an steal.
With the gardens, the pool, and restaurant, and the beach front, it's the culmination of man made and natural beauty co-existance and collaboration.
I loved it.
I was looking forward to staying at Beach Republic but I was really was not expecting it to be so good
On arrival we were given a really nice cocktail and the friendly staff walked us to our room and explained how everything works.
The design, fit and finish and attention to detail of the room was incredible, very high quality.
The bed has the most amazing topper on the mattress and coupled with the sheets it was by far the best bed we had all week and we stayed in some much more expensive hotels.
The breakfast was also hands down the best we had in thailand, they even had proper british sausages, not those strange chicken frankfurters! and back bacon!
The DJ is such a good touch during the day by the pool, getting everyone in a good mood. The pool staff kindly brought us all kinds of cocktails and drinks, and also if you ordered a drink then decided to go for a dip, they'd wait until you returned to your lounger so your drink was fresh and cold.
The dinner was that good we ended up eating there for two nights. The chef is thai and the thai dishes were some of the best we had in Thailand, but everything (really good menu) inc mexican, tapas, bbq were sensational.
Also they sorted out motorbike hire (really cheap) and the hotel transfers, we had a ride to the airport in a toyota landcruiser for only about £3 more than getting a taxi. where some hotels really do have your pants down on these things, this one doesn't!
As a family with two young girls we wanted somewhere with a children's pool and also somewhere close to the beach. The Aloha Resort had these and we had a really lovely stay.
The staff were friendly and helpful, the room was clean and well looked-after and all-in-all I can say it comes highly recommended.
Would we go back again? Yes, definitely.
Bills Resort is lovely hotel and the staff are love very helpful and polite. My only problem is the distant it is away from the main lamai strip it's either via a lane on to a busy main road or via the beach and both ways about 10 minute walk. But can't complain really just need to be aware to get transport to travel around.
Loved this place! Room was clean and comfortable, and the staff was very helpful. They gave us an open a/c room even though we booked a fan room. They also helped us book taxis to the airport. The resort itself was right on the beach and had a lovely shaded courtyard with a pool, restaurant and ping pong and pool. Definitley was pleasantly surprised by this place considering the price. Would stay here again on my next visit.
The second-most popular beach on Ko Samui, southeast-facing Lamai Beach is a good alternative to Chaweng Beach if you’re looking for a stretch of sand just off the main drag. “Grandmother” and “Grandfather” Rocks on the south end of the beach were carved by wind and rain into creative shapes, and within their crevasses are inviting turquoise bathing pools.
