The Fun Spot 3 - Serene Home with Beautiful Lake & Mtn Views to Relax and Enjoy!

"This was our family’s second stay at Fun Spot 3 and we will be back! The house is AMAZING and has everything anyone could ask for. Plenty of room for everyone (8 adults and 6 children) The kitchen is completely stocked with everything you would need to cook family dinners. There are two side by side refrigerators as well as an ice maker. There is also a full size refrigerator in the downstairs bar. The lake view is beautiful and there is ample room for everyone on both the upper and lower decks. Our family’s favorite area was the spacious dock. Lots of room for play and swimming. Kayaks and paddle boards included. The house also has a theater room and pool table which we all enjoyed. One of the best things about this rental are the Hosts Kylor and Susan. Super helpful and always available. Our family have stayed at many different VRBOs and this one is by far the best and our favorite!"

"We had a wonderful family weekend getaway at this lakefront property. The location was great—right on the lake, quiet, and peaceful. It was the perfect place to relax and spend quality time together. Our family especially enjoyed the swings under the porch, which quickly became a favorite spot."

"This lakehouse is located in a beautiful and quiet cove! House is very clean! We didn't spend too much time in the house as we enjoyed the screened in porch where we watched wildlife everyday! The dock is beautiful where you can catch some sun rays or relax in the shaded screened in area! The water in the cove is pristine and perfect for swimming, kayaking, SUP boarding and fishing! The bass were stubborn, but my son managed to catch a decent size largemouth off the dock! Can't beat the scenery from the dock as you look into the main, deep area of Smith Mountain Lake and see the mountains in the background! We rented a pontoon from The Dock at SML (which I would highly recommend) as it is just two coves from the house! Unfortunately, due to abnormally low water level, we were not able to dock our boat at the house, but it wasn't much of an inconvenience leaving it at the marina as it is only a few minute drive on Smith Mountain road from the house. Chris is very accommodating and responds very quickly to any concerns you may have. Thank you Chis for sharing your beautiful SML lakehouse! My family and I had the perfect getaway!"

"Very spacious and plenty of room for large groups. The views are gorgeous. Fortunately for our stay, the water levels still allowed us to dock the rental pontoon and jet skis. Loved that they had 2 kayaks and a paddle board that we could also use. There was something for everyone! Having two washers and dryers and two refrigerators was a lifesaver for a large group as well. The kitchen is equipped with ANYTHING YOU COULD POSSIBLY NEED and then some. As others stated, a few things could use a refresh, and making a little more room in the kitchen for food storage would be helpful but those are not complaints…we thoroughly enjoyed our time here and will definitely be back!"
