Rough start, but overall a good stay.
Checked in and they didn’t have my reservation in the computer. They had to “build it” in the computer. In total it took about 25 minutes to check in. She said she would give me a room with a great view since I had to wait so long. The room wasn’t in the building that I made my reservation for though. Arrived in the room, and it did have a great view, but was this tiny room not really matching the description. I called and inquired and was told that was a “standard king” and other amenities were not guaranteed. 15 minutes later she called and offered a different room in a different building. I accepted and was pleasantly impressed by the change. Not the same view, but a very nice room. Walls are too thin, I could hear the people next door quite well. They were loud people. Outdoor hot tub was not hot at all, but indoor one was nice. Overall I was happy with the stay and would stay again. I was also pleased to find a charge station for my EV. Attached pictures are my view.

I didn’t like that the front desk was so inaccessible. Check-in was unclear as you had the choice to go to the front desk located in another building or you could check-in over the phone but you’d eventually have to go to the front desk to put a card on file. Express check-out was available, but I have yet to receive my receipt for my stay and was charged $10 for something unknown. It was extremely hard to get in contact with staff over the phone, at one point our room key stopped working and of course the only solution was to drive to the front desk to have it replaced. Customer service was poor.

When it comes to checking in you have to go way up the hill to the club house (which is not at the same hotel) they don't tell you or have any signs letting guests know where they should go to check in. Office was closed and no one in site. Waited for 20+ mins before we saw a maintenance worker who told us about checking in up the hill. Besides that we had a great stay! We stayed in a 2 bedroom suite and it had 2 master bathrooms one with a jetted tub. The drive there was beautiful and only 10mins from the main city (Lake Tahoe) will be back soon!!

I have stayed at this property every year for the last 4 years. I love the rooms and the amenities the property has. The building we stayed in can use some TLC. On our last night, the fire alarm went off and we all had to exit our rooms around 10 pm and stand outside in the snow (not the resorts fault). The elevator would not work after that. Luckily I was only 1 floor up, so I had to carry all of our stuff down one flight of stairs and then back up on fight to get to my car. The resort comped me 2 nights stay. Not a usual experience, I would recommend it and I will go back.

Avoid this place
Horrible check-in procedure. No mention of going to the main lodge for check in, phone at our building didn't work. Keys stopped working so have to drive to main lodge to get new keys (replacements didn't work either). Staff not very friendly, no AC, slow WiFi. Spend the extra money and stay at the casinos in South Lake.

Would Stay Again!
Great resort! Went with a few girlfriends for my birthday. Room was clean and the roof top Jacuzzi was my favorite. Service was great, no complaints. Would stay here again.

Amazing property for skiing!
If you are visiting Heavenly for skiing, this is the perfect property. The location can't be beat! It's a very short walk to the Stagecoach lodge and ski lift. Or if you prefer to not walk, there is a free shuttle that is run by the property. The condo was also perfect! Very spacious and comfortable, with a gorgeous fireplace and amazing view. And you have access to all the amenities that the very large "mother" property offers. I fully recommend this property.

Beautiful facility, great location and service
We stayed at Ridge Tahoe, The Plaza building. The location was conveniently located near the restaurant, spa and transportation to the ski lifts. The shuttles take you anywhere you need within the resort and the bus service takes you into town for shopping, gambling or any other entertainment you want. The room was comfortable, beautiful and clean. The employees were helpful and polite. We will definitely be back.

We went to our 2 bedroom unit after checking in it was just starting to be cleaned. We helper with the cleaning and did not end up with enough towels. Called the front desk for towels 2 days in a row and did not receive them. Had to find someone cleaning another room to get towels. My son was giving the rolled eyes and "I guess so" when he asked an employee if he could throw away something in his garbage card.

Beautiful layout and views. Enjoyed the full size fridge and kitchen. Not close to town, if you have no car you can pay a lot in uber charges. Nice hot tub and near lift, another ridge had a restaurant in it and the spa, maybe look into staying there next time. Great daily cleaning service and underground parking

Very nice room nice view.
The only short coming would have been in the kitchen. The cooking equipment offered would have made it possible to boil water. If you were to plan a dinner you would need to bring almost everything that you might need from home.

Amazing stay
We had an amazing stay at the Ridge. The staff are so friendly and helpful. The condo was clean and had everything that we needed. The complimentary freshly baked banana bread in the refrigerator was good. Breakfast at the Bistro was fine. Well equipped kitchen, dishwasher, washer and dryer, Jacuzzi in the bedroom - it was more than our expectation.

Excellent value stay
Ridge Pointe is part of Ridge Tahoe, and having many years experience with their facilities I wasn't surprised that the room quality would be superior. Check in is at the Ridge Tahoe front desk; staff very helpful and courteous. Room, very spacious and spotlessly clean. My only issues: it's very difficult (even with years of driving on Tramway) to see the signage at night if you're a late arrival. For whatever reason, GPS points to the Ridge Tahoe desk when you enter the Ridge Pointe address, as well as identifying Ridge Pointe as Ridge Crest, an adjacent property with similar but different street address. This does become very confusing on arrival.

Paper thin walls with dated decor, proceed with caution.
I didn't know this when booking, but this room is part of a massive timeshare resort. Apparently they list surplus rooms here. While the staff was quite friendly and the bed was moderately comfortable, there are not many more compliments I can give this property. When we arrived we discovered that the elevator for the building was inoperable. That would have been nice to know beforehand with me healing from a sparained ankle and a pregnant wife with neither of us very adept at that moment of hauling our luggage up flights of stairs. The only window in the room was low and facing the outdoor breezeway where people walking by could easily peer in, so pick one of privacy or natural sunlight, but not both. Lastly, and the biggest complaint for us was that the walls were paper thin. We could clearly hear our neighbors conversation through the walls like they were practically in the room with us (and it sounded like normal conversational volume, not crazy partying) and our neighbors upstairs sounded like they were rearranging furniture in their room. All of this going on until about 1am with a long drive the next morning. If you're there to party and don't care about quiet and privacy, it's probably a fine place to stay, otherwise I'd think twice. Also, the proximity to the slopes in the winter is nearly unrivaled I'm sure, but for our stay in the summer it was a meaningless novelty.

The View building...great view!
Location had a beautiful view of Lake Tahoe and an area across the road to appreciate it. Rooms clean and well kept. Shuttle bus outside the door to other areas of propery or town. We would definitely go back. Overall the building needs some work but the staff was polite and attentive especially Michael the manager. The only complaint, we were rudely treated at one restaurant they gave us a coupon for, The Chart House. I don't understand why they are promoting this establishment. Other than that, great !

Basic room, but nice area.
Here for a wedding, so didn't spend a lot of time there. It served it's purpose, but pretty basic room. It was a bit of a hassle to get there then be directed to go over to another building on the other side (by car) to check in, then drive all the way back to the room. The rooms were basic and clean. Overall, fine for what we needed it for.

Nice condo with mountain view
We enjoyed our stay since it's close to Heavenly and the Ridge club has a lot of activities we can enjoy. The condo is spacious with full kitchen. Nice place.

I have vacationed with the Ridge properties countless times throughout the years. We really enjoy the location since it is right next to the Stagecoach lift of Heavenly. That being said, I will never stay at the Ridge Pointe again, other Ridge complexes perhaps, but the Pointe no. Problems with facility: 1) Toilet would not flush properly. It would take numerous attempts for anything to flush away. I did not contact maintenance because we were on the mountain all day and didn't want to deal with having someone working in the room, plus it wasn't clogged but just wouldn't flush properly, so I thought it was probably a bigger issue that I didn't want to address. 2) Microwave stopped working mid way most likely because it overheated. I guess its great that it powered down because dealing with a fire would have been disastrous, but still it was very frustrating having food partially heated then having to wait 20 minutes for it to reset and then hope it will work at warming up your food before overheating again. 3) Bed was sooooo very uncomfortable. It is a sleep number, so initially I thought that it would be great, it wasn't. Don't count on using sofa bed either, its a weird type of unfolding futon like sofa bed. Not that great at all. 4) Elevator is ridiculous, really it is, when leaving I walked up the four flights of stars 5 times instead. Everything else was fine. Shuttles are reliable, there are plenty of activities to do, just the room was very horrible.

Wonderful stay during New Year's.
Got upgraded to a nicer unit. Really comfortable bed, big room and sitting area. Very pleasant stay. Indoor parking. Booked a massage also, not as good as I expected.

We were given keywords that allowed us into the building, but did not open our room. We waited over half an hour for security to let us into our room. He did not, however, give us any functioningredients keys. We proceeded to wait another 45 minutes to an hour for functioning keys. We missed our special event because of the delay. Also spent a lot of money in cabfare as it was too cold to wait for the shuttle, which was not timely. Disappointed. Room and view beautiful. Staff was nice, but not efficient.

This is a condo timeshare .
Be prepared for the fact that they will not check you into the room until 4:00 no matter what, You check out at 10:00 or will be charged extra.

Staff is not very useful,they were leaving at 10pm but left by 930 left our keys in a locker without telling us, then when we found the key after we got a hold of someone the key didn't work ,it was 36 degrees outside and we waited 45 minutes to get into our room. Odd check in process ,terrible logistics,good location. Good room.

Nice condo away from Casino
We did not get our room until 3:30pm although we checked in at 12:15. They advertise 4pm check in and 10am check out which is not enough time to fully enjoy the Resort. Cleaning Staff were knocking on our door at 9:15 am so we felt rushed to leave. The noise from above guest was loud for a short while but everything else was five star. The nicest room we have stayed, ever, and the resort, spa pool, bar, etc was the best.

Unfortunately... the pictures they show on the reservation were NOT what you get. We got a room with a view of ROCKS... small and NOT what they advertised... oh, and a phone check-in with a rude lady.. nice.
