Fantastic
Very nice place to stay. Safe, quiet and clean. It’s has nice kitchen, good size refrigerator and oven so we can cook some meals instead to go out every day. We will definitely stay there again for next trip to Tahoe.

Beautiful unit but no air conditioner.
Great location, very clean and had everything we needed for our 3 night stay. Be aware that there is NO air conditioning in any of the units so it gets very stuffy during the day and uncomfortable in the bedroom. We had to keep the sliding door open the entire stay and used 4 fans to get any air flow. Luckily, the weather was cool at night but during the day, the unit was still hot.

Don’t ask to use the hot tub!
The accommodations and location were great. However, in order to use the hot tub you have to get the front office staff to let you in. The key pad was disabled. The hot tub has very limited hours 10am-7pm. During my stay, the office staff member was extremely rude and put out that I wanted to use the hot tub. I asked her how her day was going and she said fine unless someone wants to use the hot tub. She unlocked the hot tub room and stood at the door and directed me to shower down the hall before entering the hot tub. I was in my bathing suit and told her I already showered upstairs before I came down. She was so rude and dismissive so I went down the hallway to shower, and when I came back, she said you’re not going to be able to use the hot tub today . I’ve never been treated so rudely, she locked me out of the hot tub while I stood in my bathing suit in the lobby, , luckily someone from housekeeping came by and let me retrieve my belongings. I was a guest at the property for six nights and this encounter really ruined my vacation.I tried to get the woman’s name but she refused to provide it

The beds are not comfortable. The sofa bed is good as a sofa but very noisy and very uncomfortable to sleep on. The actual bed was smaller than a queen and not easy to sleep 2 people. Also it was inna very small room that did not feel great to sleep in.

The place is horrible. The hot Jacuzzi is only open from 8 to 6pm, during which I doubt how many guests will stay in hotel instead of going out for vacations. We still rush back at 5:30pm to use jacuzzi only for 15mins, and we got rejected for various reasons. The lady at front desk firstly warned us its closing soon (implying us to not use the Jacuzzis), secondly asked us to be "courtious" because we "left water on the floor yesterday after using Jacuzzis". I wonder, in a Jacuzzi, how do prople get out of pool without leaving water on the floor? By flying in the air? For check in, she gave a 10min speech about all the rules in the lodge, particularly about cleaness. I understand to put all dirty towels in the bath tub, but remove pillow cases, flat sheet and fitted sheet as well? Clean out dishes? I was very anxious during the 2 days stay, worrying we did something wrong, 1 person in my group didnt use the towels at all because she didnt want to make it dirty, and even scared of sleeping on the bed, again, for the cleaness. else we will be charged if more than 1hour and 15 mins cleaning needed. That's a very abstract rule. How to count 1.25 hour of work? Does washing and drying time be included? 1.25 hour work per cleaning person? At the end, We spent more than 1 hour to clean the room before leaving. Guests should be aware of those rules, in a written format, before they book the place. These are some beyond normal requirements.

I really enjoyed my two-night stay at the Lodge. It’s centrally located on a quiet street that is very near the casinos and heavenly ski resort. The front desk and cleaning staff have great pride in their work and it shows. They are very organized and everything was super clean. Although the lobby hours are limited, we enjoyed the espresso-based coffees, the spa area, and the fresh fruit. Sarah was especially kind and welcoming. The room was a good size and had a separate bedroom area, as well as a pull-out sofa bed. You get a decent sized fridge and a very well outfitted kitchen. Sliding door to a small deck area. Lots of nice features to the room. Would definitely stay again!!

Great sized and comfortable space, bed a little too soft. Only issue was on checking in both our CC's were declined because their machine was malfunctioning and counter people's attitudes changed. Tried another machine and all worked fine proving it was their machine error but their attitude was still there - disappointing.

Favorite place to stay
I’ve stayed at different places in the area in previous years, but the Lodge is hands-down, the only place I stay when visiting Tahoe. Their excellent customer service and the effort they place to maintain the facilities is unparalleled. The staff is always responsive to requests and ensure the guests are enjoying their stay.

We had an excellent time- the amenities were perfect, we especially appreciated the laundry facilities since we had spent time in Reno also since leaving home. Rose, at the front desk, was the only person we had interaction with. She was so helpful and extremely pleasant and friendly! We even saw a bear 🐻 from our balcony! We will stay again if given the opportunity to need lodging in Tahoe!

This is a great place. Only a few blocks from casino’s. 1 Bedroom’s are basically a suite. Very clean and quite. Does come with a kitchenette as well. Only thing I would change, please don’t call me in the morning on the room line, especially just to ask me “How is Everything?” The land lines in the room are extremely loud and I’m on vacation, sleeping in.

Reception Staff is exceptionally friendly and very helpful . The One Bedroom Unit was spotless and thoroughly furnished. The grounds are well prepared to enjoy time resting in outdoor forest settings. Everything was as comfortable and relaxing as it could be.

Superb service but facility upgrades needed
As always the staff provided excellent service at all times. They truly care about their guests and do all possible to make the stay enjoyable. The property owners need to upgrade the beds though. Our mattress and pillows were old and uncomfortable to the point where it caused neck and back pain. It would be nice to upgrade the parking lot as well so guests don’t have to walk park beyond the lot and walk thru slippery ice and muddy snow.

Second stay not as good as First.
Stayed in ground level room with small open back area. 1st day 2 different kids tried to open my sliding glass door. Area is open to anyone near the BBQ’s. No privacy. Parking is limited to start and then 3 more spots were reserved and blocked off for supposedly “emergency “ vehicles. Why?? There was not enough spots and a maintenance truck and tractor filled 2 of the other spots available.

This is actually a time share property that is rented out through travel sites (such as Expedia) when not in use by the owner. There is NO air conditioning at this property, each room comes with several ceiling fans as well as additional stand alone fans.... we went in July 2021 and it was VERY uncomfortable. We didn't know this when we booked it and when I brought it up to the staff, they said 'Oh you must not be an owner or you would have known that'. So, if you choose this property I would recommend to only go when temps are very cool 60-70's or in the winter as the gas fireplaces in the rooms are lovely.

There are few things that prevent us to rebook this property for the next trip. First of all, This property has NO AC! It is my bad that I did not see that. I assumed all properties in Tahoe have AC. The 2 ceiling fans were not adequate at all. We could not sleep until 3-4am for the 3 nights we were there. It made our day excursions more challenging. Second, the amount of gnats that gathered and flew around the lights were gross and bothersome. Room #23 did have the screen door that we kept closed the whole time. Not sure where they came from. When we turned off the lights, they landed on dining tables, kitchen cabinets, sofa, etc. Third, there were no USB jacks anywhere. This is minor, I know. But, it’s annoying. Fourth, low speed internet. Not only it’s slow, the signal was hot and miss. Actually, they included the fact in the Welcome Package! I wonder if they can still get Booking they say so in Expedia’s property description. Fifth, unpleasant front desk ladies. I’m used to hospitable staffs who genuinely wanted to make our stay pleasant or really want to know our feedback to get back. The first thing they asked when I checked out was, “ Have you follow the check out to do list?” The rebel in me wanted to say, “No!” Just to see their reaction. We stayed at numerous Airbnb, timeshares facilities. So, we are used to strip linen, run dish washer etc. I had never felt forced to do all of those until today. Will not rebook nor recommend !!!

We booked Room #44 for our 17th anniversary. The room had a mostly full kitchen (minus oven) and a L shaped couch that turns into a bed. Their was no A/C but there were plenty of fans. Plenty of dishes, bed comfortable especially the pillows. Only thing that would make it better would be a 2 person tub...that it doesn't have. Staff friendly. Spa/pool/sauna closed due to covid psy-op.
