The area is sketchy. My coffee maker in the room was broken, and when I went to check out, there was no coffee in pots and no staff around.

The staff was amazing and the room was fantastic! The bedding was soft and comfortable. The toiletries are great. It was super clean. I will definitely stay here again!

Great Hotel
The staff were friendly and pleasant. They were very accommodating. Because of the expected bad weather that was forecasted, I was able to check in early.

Property was nice and clean However room and bathroom was very small. Hardly any space to walk with 3 people in the room. It was very cramped.

To get to the elevator was a walking distance. Our room was at the very end of the hallway and we are elderly.

We arrived late due to traveling… the night staff was awesome. Checked us in quickly and had us in our room in no time. The beds are a little too fluffy for my taste, but the rooms were clean. Breakfast was very organized and they kept everything stocked. This would definitely be a repeat place to stay for us.

After a long stressful journey. We didn't have hot water when taking our showers. Other guests were having the same problem. We reported it to staff who seemed indifferent.

This was our second stay at the Holiday Inn Express Athens. Breakfast was excellent. The rooms are large and modern and have lots of plugs for electronic devices. The front desk staff members are invariably pleasant and helpful. When we are in Athens again, we will stay at the HIE.

The stay was great expect housekeeping in the morning was bothersome. They knocked at my door twice before check out and I even had the do not disturb sign on my door. Other than that it was pleasant.

Great for football games
Great place to stay for the Georgia football games. Very convenient to the stadium. Rooms were clean and quiet. Breakfast was good and the service was great. Beds were very comfortable.
