The Hotel was beautiful and in great condition. Our room had been recently renovated including an all marble bathroom. Considering the age and history of the hotel, the owners do a great job keeping it in tiptop condition.

Great, Classic Lakefront hotel in downtown Luino!
This place had a classic feel from the start. It felt like an elite lakeside getaway from the moment we checked in. The service was great and would be 5 star except for the delay we had checking out in the morning (we should have alerted them at check in but still feel someone on staff should be able to take care of the bill at any time). That being said, the hotel staff managed with our lack of speaking Italian. The restaurant staff did not speak any English but it didn't matter because everything was spectacular and they didn't seem to mind either. The room was not modern but still high class. The location is the premier value - it is right on the lake front and I don't think there was any other place in downtown Luino that had that. They also had free bikes and free parking and fast/free WiFi. It's also very private with only 13 rooms on site. So you don't feel crowded in any way. Would definitely go back for an extended stay!

High end feel — terrific breakfast
We stayed here as we passed through Luino on the way to Andermatt, Switzerland. The property has a high end historic feel, and the service was excellent. The buffet breakfast was the best we’ve experienced on this trip to Europe. Luino felt a bit sleepy, but we would definitely stay at this hotel if we were to pass through again.

little gem in lake vicinity
Stayed with partner and another family member in two seperate rooms. Friendly & helpful staff. LuIno is a nice base at Lago Di Maggiore. Extensive breakfast with great coffee. Wifi worked ok. A little pricey in our view, ie. The rate would be appropriate if there was a pool, gym or other facility. We were able to store our bycicles safely in the garage. Overall a comfortable experience.

Lovely 'Period' lakeside Hotel
Stayed 2 nights at the Camin Luino last week. We arrived very late due the the motorbikes satnav taking us on an 'interesting' unplanned detour at Milan for no apparent reason. The manager was still there waiting for us when we arrived and helped use carry our luggage up to our very nice room.. Well it was actually 3 large rooms in 1. Cannot fault the hotel or the staff, especially the brilliant bar manager who's Scotish but speaks fluent Italin and German and is super knowledgeable about the area. Beautiful location. Yes the decor is a little dated but is in perfect keeping with the look of the hotel and it's super clean. Would stay there again anytime.

Beautiful view, wonderful hotel. Large rooms.
Very good food in the restaurant. Menus in Italian & German but Maître d' translated & explained well. Gazebo just outside our room was excellent for evening drinks (& smokes). Room was very large and comfortable. We were recommended to go on boat trips around the islands, which were excellent. Plenty of parking space. Overall really enjoyed our stay and will return whenever in the area.

Staff very nice, service was very good, Elena at the reception very warm and helpful. The only "negativ " point was that it was not enough coffee in the room and the milk was expired since May 2023. Except this, perfect.

Wir haben die Herzlichkeit und das Zuvorkommen der Rezeptionistin etwas „kühl“ und „automatisch“ empfunden. Ich habe da meinen Geburtstag gefeiert aber leider ist es niemandem aufgefallen. Die Putzfrau meinte auf meinen Hinweis dies sei „mein Tag“, sie habe auch einen Skorpion in der Famile. Ich hätte hier eine Aufmerksamkeit erwartet…Anwonsten Service sowie Preis- Leistung tiptop

Magnifique séjour
Très bel hôtel aillant fait l’objet d’une superbe restauration. Le cadre est magnifique dans un esprit 1900 Le restaurant est de très bon niveau, je recommande. Le personnel est très attentionné, le parking de l’hôtel dispose de bornes de recharge pour véhicules électrique.

Komfortable Zimmer mit vielen Annehmlichkeiten. Sehr schönes Restaurant, exquisites Frühstück und gut gelegener Gastgarten. Schade dass es gegenüberliegend keinen Strand zum Baden im See gibt, dann wäre es absolut perfekt.

Tolles Hotel am Lago Maggiore
Was soll man sagen? Top Lage, Top Service, Top Zimmer, Top Essen, Top Freundlichkeit. Als der Parkplatz voll war, hat der Hoteldirektor seinen persönlichen Parkplatz angeboten und sein Auto weiter weg geparkt.
