Very convenient to train station. Provided voucher for free bus transportation and other discounts. Room was adequate however construction is ongoing with blocked view due to scaffolding. Air conditioner did not cool the room properly.

Average experience.
The Radisson Blu Hotel, Lucerne, is situated just near the railway, tram and bus station. The overall hotel ambience is also alright. But it is not great, because of the following reason. I'm citing these because of the money paid and the returns not received: 1. The rooms are spacious enough with good hygiene. But, there is just too much lint in almost all rooms. Also the coffe machine doesn't work. 2. We were promised on email that we will receive queen/king bed and instead we received twin bed. And the hotel staff was very professional to say that it is on the basis of availability. I think, the staff needs to be trained on terms like - reservation, commitment on emails. Because they surely doesn't know its meaning. 3. The dining area was average in hygiene. The staff is seen doing hard work. But still the flooring is stained and unclean.

Front desk was 1/2 good and 1/2 bad. Maids were good. 42 dollar buffet breakfast was too high to try. Close to train station and bridge to old town. Room was clean and nice. Jack Daniels and coke was made with a thimble for the bourbon.

For Americans - it has REAL american beds (one queen instead of 2 twins pushed together, you just have to ask). Also, A/C is AMAZING AND COLD! Two things not found in europe, that Americans might be used to !

The staff was very helpful especially Melanie who went above and beyond to help us during our entire stay. Henrique and Oscar helped us get into a room suitable for our family. The only part we didnt like about the room was the bath room door should have a lock and also more privacy as it was visible to people outside.
