We stayed one night at Hotel Ambassador before embarking on a road trip around Switzerland. We didn't spend a lot of time at the hotel, just a late check-in with the computer system and a comfy, clean place to sleep before leaving in the morning. The room was fairly small but comfortable, and was outfitted with everything we needed for the night plus some. There was a fan which was nice since it got just a little stuffy in the room overnight, and the bed was comfy though I did bring my own pillow, as I usually find European pillows to be entirely too thin. I very much appreciate that they're dog friendly as well. I would not hesitate to stay here again and would definitely recommend it to others.
My only suggestion would be to have some staff on hand at night, for questions or help with check-in. The computer system was easy enough to use, but at first we couldn't get in the lobby door to use it for check-in, because we didn't yet have a key. We also had no idea where the parking garage was, until my husband finally found someone who gave us advice on where to park. It would also be really helpful if the wifi extended to the downstairs lobby area, since many people's cell phones won't work in Switzerland. I got stuck waiting there and couldn't text my husband to let me back in.
