Nice hotel across the street from train station

Overall it was an excellent hotel , little pricey becausebreakfast was not included but there are many cafes around to get food. The view from the restaurant is amazing. Front desk receptionists should smile more

Nice hotel in central location at the lake

Reception staff unfriendly. Had emailed prior to our stay requesting kettle in room & informing them of our reason for the trip which was to celebrate my 50th birthday during our stay there. They didn’t reply to the email but on check in acknowledged they’d received it. However they didn’t leave a kettle in our room or give any gesture to acknowledge the birthday. Hotel gives guests a tourism travel card for discounts on public transport but on check in weren’t issued with these. We had to ask for them later when we realised we should have been given these. On checkout we were charged for breakfast for the 4 mornings of our stay but we were booked room only. A lot of little niggly things which you don’t expect from a hotel of this star rating. Restaurant staff very helpful & friendly & the food was lovely. Hotel is in excellent location, with beautiful views over the lake if you book a deluxe lake view room, which we did. The room however was very small and overpriced.

Great location

The hotels has a great location and beautiful view. However, the staff are undertrained or the hotel is understaff. I asked for late checkout, at first they said it’s ok until 1:30, then they saw my wife at the lobby and told her we should check out at 12. The room service didn’t pick up!!! So I called the front desk for converters for my phone. They told me I have to go downstairs and get it since they couldn’t send it to the room. Overall there were few incidents like this that made me uncomfortable reaching out for help if I needed any. I would recommend this hotel but only if you expect a 3 star hotel service.

Hotel with a view! Close to station!

The rudest most unpleasant receptionist! Made us feel that somehow we were not good enough to be staying at this hotel! Having just spent 4 wonderful nights at Le Mirador, where nothing was too much trouble! it was very hard to take this young lady’s rudeness!

Rude!!!

Would not recommend! First impression was horrible and we were made to feel less than welcome by our rude receptionist! After booking a deluxe lake front room she gave us a nasty dingy little room at the end of the corridor! When we asked to be moved she angrily told us to come back to reception immediately and “don’t touch anything in the room” We were begrudgingly given another room but she took her time over it!

Nice hotel near train station

Nice hotel located just opposite the train station. Very convenient and transport is easily access to various places of interest in montreux. Most staff are helpful, except one of them who picked our call and was very rude mainly because she could not really understand our request. Everything else is great for a stay.

Superb Location

Cons: Pillows
Location: Visited the Castle and Freddie Mercury museum
Lovely hotel . Our room was right opposite the train station not that you would know. Room was a little too warm and the pillows a little too flat . Did not eat in the hotel but the views from the restaurant looked amazing even in January.

close to train station and center of town

Hotel was being worked on and seemed empty, but we were not allowed to check into our room early which would have been nice since we had arrived in Europe via an overnight flight from the U.S. earlier that day.

Elegant and historic, conveniently located

Recently renovated, the bathrooms and fit out are first cabin. Other than breakfast, restaurants in hotel were not open during our stay (New Years).
