Pros: Everything
Cons: Nothing
Excellent accommodation. Super king size bed and sitting area. Walk in shower plus spa bath. Very clean and spacious. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was delicious. Irton Hall is surrounded by beautiful grounds to sit or walk around and enjoy the ducks and peacocks. In all a wonderful stay. Thank you so much.

Stayed at irton Hall for the easter bank holiday weekend with my girlfriend and it is well worth the travel time. We had a lovely time. The hotel is situated in a beautiful area and the staff are welcoming and friendly. The food in the hotel was beautiful either breakfast or main meals. The rooms are extremely comfortable and well sized and the views are spectacular!! The surrounding area is well worth a visit, there is so much too see and to visit. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone.

Comfortable room, friendly, helpful staff. Breakfast satisfactory. A bit more choice would have enhanced the breakfast experience.

Nice Room, Shame about the cockerel

Posted 14-Apr-2017 on Hotels
Nice surroundings and the room was clean and in relatively good condition. Unfortunately, the bed was uncomfortable, the WiFi was slow and got very congested, and there was a cockerel that woke us every morning at about 6...

Nice hotel, away from the tourist area.

Posted 14-Apr-2017
Pros: Great location, nice room and beautiful building.
Cons: More staff
Great hotel in an idyllic location. The bedroom was large and comfortable (King size room) and the food was very tasty with a good and varied selection. I suggest to the manager that he needs to employ morer staff as the 2 girls that seemed to be doing everything, checking in, serving in the bar and waiting in the restaurant, were way to busy and were working extremely hard. They were very pleasant in spite of being busy but we had to wait a little while between courses and then getting an extra drink after the meal. A great hotel and we would definately use again when we next visit the lakes.

Lake District

Posted 07-Apr-2017
Good location, quiet with good facilities. Directions to find the hotel were confusing. The hotel has a sign stating "Irton Hall, the Lake Districts hidden gem", which it lives up to, but directions could be better
