Hotel La Perla was a wonderful experience. The family treated us so well and made our trip excellent. We were fortunate to have a vehicle so transportation was not an issue. If you do not have a vehicle, travel will be tough as the hotel is pretty far up the mountain. The views are incredible, the rooms are very clean and spacious, the food is great… I highly recommend staying at Hotel La Perla. If you wanted other restaurants or experiences, there are many places down the mountain 5 minutes to eat, shop, and the ferry is right there also. You won’t want to leave.

A charming and beautiful hotel set in the hills of Tremezzina. Quiet and peaceful away from the hustle and bustle of Bellagio. The ferry is easily accessible to visit the neighbouring towns. The cleanliness and services are impeccable. This hotel is family owned and run by 2 twin sisters Clelia and Mara who don’t hesitate to help any way they can. The restaurant is very good too. There is free parking also

Our stay here was amazing. The views we had were beyond our expectation. Our room was really comfortable and clean. The staff was a huge help to us and helped us plan our way around Lake Como for the entire three days we had there. Cannot say enough wonderful things about this place...we will be back!

Wonderful hotel
Such a lovely hotel with amazing staff, in the hills above Tremezzo. The hotel is immaculate. In terms of amenities there is a pool (didn’t go in but the seating area is lovely), evening meals (very tasty, limited choices), and a very satisfactory buffet breakfast with coffee machine. There are always staff around to advise on all aspects of day trips. We have no criticisms of this lovely hotel but be aware there is no longer a bus which takes you up and down the hill, and that there are limited walkable options for restaurants in the evening. Otherwise this is perfect, especially if you have a car and want a very relaxing stay away from home.

Wonderful! Lovely family run hotel in a beautiful setting with views over Lake Como. The staff could not have been more helpful. The hotel was old fashioned but immaculate. Delicious breakfast too!

The personal attention to detail at this hotel is superb. From the second we arrived we were greeted with such warmth and friendliness. This hotel should be 5 star. Rooms immaculate, common spaces, pool area, gardens and food excellent. The two sisters and family that run this hotel have really made a special place here like no other hotel I have stayed at before. Would definitely be recommending to friends and family. The view from our balcony was absolutely stunning of lake como. We really didn’t want to leave. Excellent place to stay to visit all areas. Can’t wait to visit again. Thank you so much for making our stay perfect x

Family run business up the hill from the lake easily accessible by car. The nicest, most helpful group of people you could ask for. Recommend purchasing a lake view as the views are incredible first-thing-in-the-morning and late at dusk, we even got some nice rain one day. Property has a pool, full bar, large breakfast…it was perfect. Gratzie!

The owners were always around to make sure you have everything you need, service was on 0-10 I would say a 12! Rooms are comfortable and very clean, breakfast was very good and the pool was a big bonus. Having evening cocktails on the terrasse overlooking Lago di Como is priceless. We will definitely stay here on our next vacation in Italy. Our family with 2 kids and a Oma with us loved it!

This was an incredibly well run family hotel who welcomed its guests like family! Nothing was too much trouble. The views were incredible and the food is plentiful and good. The pool is lovely and it was never too busy. I would 100% recommend this hotel for a stay at Lake Como

This hotel is excellent! Family owned and they are great people. They went out of their way to rebook an excursion for us and it benefitted us greatly. Clean rooms, great views, excellent breakfast and dinners. No complaints at all. It is a little bit of a hike up to the hotel on foot. We did it once.....once! But the elevation gives you great views from your room. Definitely book this hotel.

Charming Place with extremely helpful staff
What a charming place this is. Absolutely sparkling clean, comfortable rooms, great views from the terrace overlooking lake Como and directly opposite Bellagio. Breakfast in the morning is delicious, ranging from fresh fruits, cakes, cereal, cold italian meats and cheeses and some hot options like pancakes, boiled eggs and sausages. But on top of all this, the staff are extremely helpful, patiently providing detailed instructions of local bits of information that you can't find online, such as best parking places and some amazing and breathtaking walks. Thanks for such an amazing stay.

Hotel La Perla is great! Pros - staff is amazing and adorable, the views are incredible, free breakfast, great little dinner restaurant and fairly priced Cons - bed and pillow was hard/uncomfortable, getting to the hotel without a car was costly/inconvenient/overall difficult. I wish they would make more use of the shuttle for their guests. Had to wait until evening for a ride back up or take a 15€ taxi

Everyone extremely friendly. Draws a local map for me since my gps stops working. Explains the whole ferry system as well. Good food offered on site and wine. Well maintained property and absolutely gorgeous view.

We stayed in a few places on our "1st Anniversary tour", this however easily had the best people/staff in this great family run hotel. They were all so very helpful (& Multilingual) and a pleasure to be around. The breakfast was lovely and the hotel was great too. The only thing they didn't do was bring out the sunshine... but they did everything else with a smile! :)

Lovely family run hotel
A really lovely family run hotel which is spotlessly clean. Lovely comfortable bed with quality bedding. Great views from private balconies and public areas. The owners and staff are all very friendly and happy to share information with guests. Very good breakfast and simple evening menu is available. The hotel is located on the hillside but good parking is available and a morning and evening shuttle bus is available. Attractive pool area but sadly didn't use this due to weather conditions. I recommend this hotel and would definately book again.

The best place to stay from my 10 trips in Italy!
A hotel with an amazing view to spend your holiday at Lake Como. Great location to drive around Lake Como. All the staff are friendly (since it is a family business I think). Can have real local home cooked meals from a restaurant two minutes walk away. We love the place and plan to come again!

Hidden Gem in Tremezzo
We loved this family-run hotel! The view was stunning, the food was wonderful, and the owners are fantastic. The price was certainly great too. The owners provided us invaluable information on tourism options and were so nice! I absolutely recommend a stay at this hotel if you are in the Tremezzo area. We will definitely be back on our next trip.

A hotel with a view
This is a lovely, friendly place to stay where the staff (the family who own it) work extra hard to make one welcome. It is in a beautiful place but high up on a hillside above Tremezzina, one of Lake Como’s many small towns. for us this was a disadvantage as we are not so young and one of us has difficulty walking, especially on hills. Other than this however, we can’t fault it.

Family run small hotel. Nothing is too much trouble and they are very pleasant people. Anyone with walking problems would need transport although shuttle bus is free in morning and afternoon. Pool area is very nice. Breakfasts good and although evening meal is limited good quality. Service excellent. Rooms beautiful and clean. We stayed 10 days for our honeymoon. I would highly recommend La Perla. Calm and relaxed atmosphere . Wonderful views from high above the lake. Thank you .
