The hotel location is stunning with fantastic views of lake como. Our room was large and the bed was comfortable. However the customer service really let this place down and was not what I would have expected from a hotel such as this. The hotel maintained that it had a bar service, but each day when we wanted to get some drinks, we had to try and find staff as they were not at the bar and we were always made to feel like an inconvenience. We were also told by the front desk that busses stopped at 6.30pm into Como and that we would be able to get a taxi from the centre. However this wasn't the case, we went for dinner in como and wanted to return to the hotel for about 9pm (so not late). We called every taxi number and couldn't get through, waited at the taxi rank for 40 minutes with no taxis running and when we rang the hotel to ask what to do they basically said that we would have to wait and there was nothing they could do. In the end, we nearly had to get another hotel in como for the night as we had absolutely no idea how to get home and there was minimal help from the hotel. Eventually the hotel said they would ring a taxi company for us to find out what was going on and by sheer luck we were able to flag a taxi down to share with another couple. This ruined our experience somewhat and I'm not sure we would therefore return.

If you are a tourist from another country and don’t have own ride, this is not the place for you. Staff at the front desk was not of any help for the areas near by. Pool closes at 7, not very convenient. Won’t be staying here again.

Thank you for the review that can help improve our service and we are sorry for what happened. Unfortunately, the hotel, as indicated in the site, is not located in the center of Cernobbio, but is about 1 km away. Our staff always advise on arrival, that you are not in possession of a car, you can reach the center by bus (the stop is in front of the parking lot) by taxi or on foot. Also, as advised, unfortunately the local taxi company is not always available, but alternatively you can contact the taxi company of Como. Also, as reported several times from our reception during your stay, unfortunately, we can not organize the taxi service if at the time of request you are not inside the hotel, but at another undefined point at the center of Cernobbio. There are the rules of the taxi company.We always try to help our customers as much as possible, even if the taxi service is not our responsibility and is not our service. Our swiming pool is open from 9.0 to 19.00 times that everyone respects since from 19.30 we open our terrace for dinner. Best regardsHotel Asnigo Staff

Clean and modern hotel with friendly staff. Room had a stunning view of Lake Como and was a comfortable size. The location of the hotel was slightly inconvenient with little to no taxis and the buses stopped at around 18:30, so had to walk to and from the hotel a few times which does consist of some steep hills. Overall though it was a lovely stay and would return.

This place is great. We got a room with a balcony and it was amazing! The breakfast and staff were both excellent! The pool was perfect to relax and enjoy the wonderful view. Cab ride from Como $30 and far walk to get anywhere but if you want a chill and relaxing stay somewhere far from stress, this is a perfect spot!

Beautiful property overlooking Lake Como, away from the crowds but easy access to all of the “lake” towns. Excellent restaurant for dinner and the morning buffet was great.

Another day in paradise
Really enjoy the atmosphere, and view over the lake. I will back again. Katia the waitress at the breakfast was amazing, with all staff at the hotel.

Top notch hotel with excellent restaurant.
This hotel is top notch and the room we booked had amazing views over lake Como. The restaurant is also excellent. Be warned though the walk into town a the lake side is steep and takes about 20 mins. We will definitely stay here again.

We love this boutique hotel- the staff were very welcoming and friendly. They made us feel right at home. Wonderful and inviting ambiance and a delicious breakfast. We highly recommend this hotel to all our friends and family!

Amazing views and lovely hotel. Staff extremely friendly and helpful. Breakfast good. Just a note for those with mobility issues, the hotel is situated 20mins walk from from lake front, the walk back to the hotel is incredibly up hill. Lack of taxis in lake como currently so can’t always rely on them to get back to the hotel.

Great hotel with nice views
The hotel staff was incredible. Very friendly and helpful! The rooms were very clean and had great views of the lake. It is located on the side of the hill, which make it a hard 45 minute walk to como. There are few taxis which made it very hard to get from town to the hotel or train station. I would strongly recommend renting a car. The hotel restaurant has fantastic food and service. I would recommend this hotel.

Absolutely fantastic hotel, with the most stunning views overlooking the mountains. The staff were super friendly, helpful and fun to be around. The room was modern, clean and had a really nice bathroom. The buffet breakfast and fresh coffee was exceptional! Highly recommend this hotel.

Breakfast brunch was good.Walking back to hotel uphill at night because bus ends early not good,took taxi twice.Not really hotels fault but what they call stairs in pathway,very unlevel good way to twist ankle.

A solid 4 star property
Great location above the small town of Cernobbio. Views from the property are amazing and the service is attentive and prompt. Rooms come with a full breakfast which is one of the best we’ve had at any property in Italy. Very quiet in the evening and the walk to the ferry takes about 15 minutes.

The view from the room was incredible, it was a little up the hill and out from town and was expecting a snow storm so we were a little concerned about driving up and down the hill. Turns out the snow never stuck to the ground and by the time we got out of there we were safe.

I dont recommend this place uncomfortable
Is really bad rooms, I had a lot of problems with the pictures because is no the same rooms they want to give you a smaller room in the first floor and uncomfortable, the receptionist in the night is a rude person and we never received a competation the rooms in the third florr doesn't have internet , and can smell the humidity and cigarette smoke nobody help you to change the room , the only really great about this place is the view and the breakfast dont waste your time pay more for a room because they choose the worts room smaller and uncomfortable
