This is a world class property. You could spend a week here and not see it all. Plenty of restaurants, bars, shops.

We took our 85 year old mother for her birthday. The hotel had an electric scooter for her to use making our stay trouble free.

In the first room we were put in the sliding glass door going out to the balcony would not lock and the room safe did not work.

The property is nice and has a lot of options. Our room was very nice. I did not find the reception desk staff to be personable.

Our stay could of been better... The power was out for a few days. the pool, hot tubs, lazy river and swim up bar was closed during that time. Half the restaurants was closed...

Terrible staff on the casino floor- cocktail waitresses don't walk around but maybe one every couple hours.. then forget your drink or give it to someone else. So we're paying hundreds of dollars in drinks at the bar while we spend thousands on the tables. Not okay. Rude bartenders that literally said "id rather be anywhere else" & a different guy on the other side of the casino working that bar saying "i hate it here" which hearing all the negativity isn't the best vibe while trying to drink and gambe.. just a let down & i advise you to just go to LaBurge.

I’ve had the opportunity to stay at many Casino properties. The Golden Nugget Lake Charles has a nice selection of food & beverage. The rooms are spacious and well appointed. I found the rooms quiet and comfortable. For my stay the only disappoint was the power interruptions impacting some of the resort amenities.

I have back issues and cannot walk long distances, but everything on property was conveniently located. There was a variety of eating establishments within short walking distance from casinos. Property was clean and ALL areas of staffs were very professional but still personable.
