"The common areas of this property are stunning. The glass and wood structure is amazing, particularly when viewed at night from the pool area. My room, facing the lagoon, was nice albeit a bit dated. The staff is excellent as is expected at Dusit properties. Note that you will not get as much room for your money as, for example, the Cassia which is the next hotel over on the lagoon. But the Dusit is on the beach and the Cassia is not. Also Cassia has a less formal atmosphere. If you want classic old school Thai charm then Dusit is a wonderful place."

"Adequate for the price but units really need updating. Furniture has not been changed in 20 years. Housekeeping comes every 3 days so bring your own water etc. "
