Beautiful little Inn in Laguna Beach. Location is just across the street from the beach, but the rooms are far enough back on the property to avoid noise from traffic. Quiet, comfortable, extremely clean. We love rooms 105 and 106. Huge spa tubs, continental breakfast, free wi-fi. We have been back to this motel several times in the past 6 years. We love it. Beds are just right- firm/soft enough for a great night's sleep. Pool is beautiful. Mozambique is nearby, which is a plus if you're looking for a great place to eat. Staff is wonderfully friendly and accommodating. Parking is easy.
It is really hard to fully rate The Ranch at Laguna Beach right now as it is under construction. The room however was completely renovated and super nice. We ate breakfast there one morning and the food was awesome. I will be back again. It was super quiet and a very short distance to the beach.
The Ranch at Laguna Beach is located just south of downtown Laguna Beach on the Pacific Coast Highway just 350 yards off …More
"Love the Nostalgic environment the hotel offers "
I stayed eight days and do not have one complaint. The whole staff, from the beach, bar, indoor/outdoor wait staff to the front desk and housekeeping.... they all were pleasant and went the extra mile to accommodate, when needed. Though the hotel is old and worn, if offers a very nostalgic atmosphere, that I appreciated. The walls are much thicker than the newer hotels!!
I will defiantly re-book at this hotel.
The hotel is right across the street from the beach access so I have never felt the need to pay more for beach front. This hotel is clean, staff is friendly, and maintains a peaceful environment for a relaxing get a way. The spa tubs in the rooms are great. The pool area is also nice and the roof-top sitting area does offer beautiful views of the ocean.
Reality TV portrays Laguna Beach as the land of the young and spoiled. But beneath this veneer is a city rooted in the arts. The Laguna Playhouse is one of the oldest theaters in the West Coast. The city also hosts the annual Festival of the Arts/Pageant of the Masters and the Sawdust Art Festival. West of Laguna Beach, Crystal Cove State Park’s unspoiled beach attracts snorkelers and divers.
