Hmmm. Well, I suppose if I was into it, the tittie bar right next door could have been fun and convenient. Probably my bad that I didn't catch that when I booked the room. It's kind of tough when you are booking from out of state and relying solely on websites on the internet. I did see some other reviews, also, that remarked on how sorry this hotel was. But then I also saw some that said it was just a rundown Motel 6, and sort of dingy. We literally just needed a place to sleep since we were in town to see our son at college. Also, slim pickings for family weekend, all the mid range hotels were booked. I've also stayed in Motel 6 over the years, and the ones I've been in are basic but clean. Not this one. Moth holes in the sheets, the back of the door was filthy and the latch broken so you only had the deadbolt. Also, 50 year old hotels that are "non-smoking" but smell like the smoke of 50 years before....can't sleep in a room that stinky! HARD PASS. We paid for three nights and left after the first. Ended up at a really nice new hotel closer to ours son's school. Payed a stupid amount of money for it, but overall much happier and it was spotless, truly non-smoking and a safer situation.
