It was clean and in good condition. It had everything we needed as a family. Service wonderful. Bikes and Canoes awesome. Great views. Beautiful parkland across the road. Nice and quiet. Close and ease of access to attractions. Wonderful stay!

Great location! 10 minute walk to restaurants and 15 minute walk to a nice little beach with a cafe and park. 15-20 minute drive to theme parks and surfers paradise. Kids loved the on-site pool and spa. Rooms were clean and tidy.

Great facilities to entertain adults and kids. Nice out of the way location but close to public transport if you’re not driving. Good open plan living and well stocked kitchen. Friendly staff and nice vibe.

The apartment was spotless, kitchen was huge and had everything we needed. Free secure parking under the building was appreciated, and Donna (the receptionist) was absolutely lovely. We used the pool and spa, but regret we didn't have enough time to use the bikes or kayaks that were also available. I would defintely stay here again and have already recommended it to my parents! Thank you for a lovely stay!

Self contained, and very relaxing, spa and pool clean, yet closed after 9pm. Not many villas so not a crowded place, great location close by to seaworld. Ommunication could improve as check in and out is limited times.

The property had and excellent pool room that both the kids and us parents hung out in quite a bit. Was very unique addition to what we were expecting so very well received by all. The one and only downfall in our unit was no air-conditioning in the bedrooms, a couple of nights were extremely hot, so we found it difficult to get a decent night sleep those nights.

Staff were friendly and accommodating. Due to recent rain the basement was closed which included the kids area. Staff indicated we could use an alternative apartments amenities. Wasn’t needed as the kids enjoyed their time in the pool

Lovely resort.
Golden Shores is a beautiful accomodation. The facilities are clean and well kept. We stayed in room 16. The bathroom was clean and we had no issues with hot water or water pressure. Having a washer and dryer in the room was very handy. All utensils u need for cooking basic meals are provided. We were very happy with this accomodation and plan to return for another holiday in December 2020

Perfect for family with kids. They can play around with kids from other residents in the game room. The only thing is no lift, but it is still good. No air conditioner in the bedroom is definitely not a problem. Because it is along the sea and we still feeling cold at night without touching the air conditioner. Happy to come back.

Fantastic place to stay. It is a low rise complex, great bbq and pool, right across from the broadwater. On site staff are amazing, so helpful and friendly. We loved it.

Room and facilities were excellent. Room was clean. Lobby was helpful with all the brochures and booking kiosk. Kids loved the pool and games room. Check-in was confusing. Website states check-in was between 4-5pm, not the same as the office hours.

Had every comfort of home. Really liked the free bicycle hire and the kids loved the pool. Could possibly do with non slip strips or hi viz paint on the steps leading to the pool, my mum fell down them, she had no serious injury luckily.

This was a perfect place for families! There is so much to do for all ages including a pool, spa, sauna, games room, table tennis and billiards room, just to start. It’s in a quiet and unique location opposite a park with easy water access. This place seriously is a gem!

Hotel located in good spot - close to beach, walking tracks, bus stop & food. Hotel was clean but a little stuffy & bit dusty. Good facilities including bikes & kayaks to use free of charge. Nice big apartments & very friendly & helpful staff.

This is one great gem with easy access to Gold Coast a quiet place with a kids playground across the road a good size swimming pool and spa bath access to pushbikes and paddle boards to use during the day. Underground security car park provides easy access to your unit via stairs. Each apartment is 2 bedrooms with a nice balcony to enjoy. Comforts of home with good size kitchen with all amenities, lounge dining room is a good size for a family. Bathroom has shower in the bath so not good for the older persons needing a walk in shower, laundry is part of bathroom so rather warm when clothes dryer is on. Staff are very friendly and most helpful with assisting in purchase of theme park tickets etc and for a friendly chat. Apartment block was very clean no signs of any rubbish or trees out of place a well maintained property

It had all the facilities required for a family, only downfall was the smart card on the Foxtel machine keeps logging off when watching movies very disruptive, I did report to reception and they could not fix it. Exhaust fan in the toilet doesn't work, other than that everything was amazing. I would recommend this hotel to anyone. Great staff members very helpful. The beach has an amazing view, Australia fair shopping mall is 3 mins away, and the spa is very relaxing.

Great experience. Friendly and welcoming staff, clean and tidy apartments with everything you need provided. We really enjoyed the fact that it was a smaller apartment complex, so was not overcrowded and felt more intimate. Delighted with the free use of equipment and a well stocked games room. Highly recommend.

Room wasn't cleaned, opend old milk in the fridge, an event was held in the are and st were blocked off. We weren't told there was event upon arrival, nor that the road was closed and we couldn't get in or out. We travelled 1800km, asked for an early check in could get in till 4. The room smelt, bentches weren't clean, table not wiped, lounge stained.

Very convenient to Theme Parks with great access to waterways. Close to shops. Relatively quiet location. Complimentary use of kayaks and bikes is excellent although a bike pump/properly maintained bike tyres would have been helpful. The extremely consevative supply of toilet paper (2 rolls for a two bedroom apartment for 8 days), coffee (4-5 sachets), dish washing (2 sachets) and laundry powder (2 sachets) was not conveyed either through the booking process or at the time of check in and came across as petty and mean spirited particularly considering the tarrif. Initial requests for more toilet paper were met with hostility but no explanation of the management policy.

Low rise self contained appartments close to the water. Decor a little aged but clean. Access to free bikes,kayaks, games room and BBQ. Would be happy to return. No real evidence of petty rules.
