It is about 300m from the sea as the crow flies. The detached holiday home surrounded by cork oaks is located in a very quiet residential area of Labenne-Océan on a plot of approx. 1,300 m². The long sandy beach is only about 300 meters away on foot. In the center (approx. 1 km) there are some restaurants, an ice cream parlor, a supermarket, a bakery, a surfboard rental, a mini golf course, etc. The holiday home has a living space of 140 square meters. The house has four bedrooms with a beautiful view of the garden. The three bedrooms on the first floor (sloping ceilings) each have two single beds or a 140 cm wide bed (1 room). The two bedrooms on the first floor facing the back garden have a shared balcony. On the first floor there is a bathroom with a bath, toilet and two large sinks. On the ground floor, the bedroom, bathroom and a small hallway form a unit that is spatially separated from the living area. The bedroom on the ground floor has two single beds that can be combined into a 180 cm wide double bed. The bathroom on the ground floor is equipped with a shower and two large sinks, the toilet is separate. All bedrooms have a built-in closet. The French-style, spacious living area has a dining area, a bar and a seating area with German satellite TV. The fireplace can be fired with the available wood and creates a cozy atmosphere in the house. The fully equipped kitchen contains a fridge with freezer compartment, an induction hob, an oven, a coffee machine, a dishwasher, a washing machine and plenty of dishes and pots. Enjoy the delicious French baguette and warm croissants for breakfast on the covered, Mediterranean terrace or grill fresh fish in the outdoor fireplace in the evening. Thanks to the warm temperatures in summer, you can sit outside by the log fire and a glass of French red wine until late at night and listen to the roaring surf. The large garden also offers plenty of space to sunbathe on our sun loungers and shady places to relax and read. The house has a garage and parking in the driveway in front of the house. The house has electric heating and is set up for 8 people. Great location and garden but the kitchen is very small, basic and the main tap wasn’t even fixed in place. The main bathroom you hit your head on the roof when going to the toilet. The main shower you have to sit in the bath to shower. The carpets are very old and feel unclean. There aren’t enough fans for rooms as the house is very hot. La propriété est entourée d’un vaste jardin entièrement clôturé et arboré de chênes liège, ce qui offre un cadre naturel reposant et propice à la détente, un peu comme si la maison se trouvait à l’orée d’une forêt. Garden with trees and fences so you feel secured. Quiet place without traffic, easy to park. The 4 bedrooms with 2 bathrooms are convenient and we were nicely welcomed. The supermarket at Labenne Ocean offers plenty of food you also find restaurants a small golf club for children there is a water park at Labenne and tens of options to go everywhere biking. There's a bigger supermarket at Labenne-city (5 km away). You can easily reach Bayonne and Biarritz with the highway (less than 30 minutes). Proche de la mer. La maison est spacieuse et la literie est bonne. Pratique d'avoir un lave-linge, mais étonnant qu'il n'y ait pas de micro-ondes. La maison est propre mais assez défraîchie... Par ailleurs, je reste étonnée que sur une maison de ce type, les seules choses laissées soient les produits ménagers. En dehors de la vaisselle, les placards étaient absolument vides.
