Very tiny room. Ac didn’t seem to work. Staff was friendly. We only stayed one night I’m sure if we stayed longer, we would have embraced it more so. Look up live jazz a taxi or Uber ride away. That was amazing!! Be sure if getting a taxi to the hotel to confirm address. He dropped us quite far from the actual hotel and had to drag full luggage around to get there. Have google translate handy if you do not speak French well.

We really enjoyed our stay here. A clean room, comfortable bed, reasonably big by European standards. It was quiet, but close to the Perrache station and shopping/dining options. The front desk staff gave very good service and the breakfast was good with staff present. However the dining room was very small so you have to book a time for breakfast. Would stay here again.

Good location. The room is very small and the shower has a very slippery floor and no grab bars. My 75 yr. old husband slipped in the shower and almost fell. Also, no place to hang towels.

However the surface area was not enough for you : for that kind of expectation we usually suggest a superior room or a double room with walk-in shower, you will feel the difference. Good stay. Small room for bed size. Carpet needs major clean. Otherwise comfy and I was happy. Nice to have coffee/tea facilities.

This is property is bordering on 2-star. The location is good, but the condition of the hotel leaves a lot to be desired. Pictures of the hotel do not accurately capture the condition. I would not stay here again.

Very happy to get this hotel booked at the last minute. Air conditioning was great, and needed during the heat wave. Early on the morning of departure the elevator was out of service due to an area electrical outage. The front desk person came up to the fourth floor, without a request by us, to carry our luggage downstairs for us. Big thank yiu

The room was fine however being on the ground floor I felt uneasy opening the curtains or window. Also there was no safe in my room.

Rooms were very small. Front desk staff too chatty at times, but while friendly and they meant well, this often delayed service (i.e. check in and addressing others who needed assistance from the front desk). The safe in our room was broken, and they said that they would fix it, but never did (during our stay).

Good location and reasonable price
Good hotel overall. Located in the middle of the Presqu'île, very close to the Perrache station. Reasonable price. The bed was super comfortable, though the room was quite small. The Wi-Fi worked well. Breakfast was OK. Bear in mind that breakfast room is very small, so you have to choose a time to have breakfast in advance.

Except the fire alarm which woke up us at 8h30 without any explanations or apologies, this hotel is normal value for price. Employees are nice but their kindness may not be understood by foreigners. The location is great !

Good Location
This hotel was in great location, only a short to main square Place Bellecour. Came to visit friends and attend Fetes des Lumière. Fantastic. Well worse the visir. Lots to do in Lyon. Old Town, museums etc. First time in France but will be back

Disappointed! The hotel messed up
We booked the room then we walked there from the car in less than five min. The reception said they were fully booked and he just gave the last room to the customer two min ago. We're very disappointed and furious!! Since we paid the room already we asked for the refund then we called hotels.com then they called the hotel to verify. Finally we spent one hour there from 03:00 am. Could you imagine how disappointed and how tired we were?

Excellent hotel
Ah, Lyon, beautiful, amazing Lyon! My husband and I had an amazing visit to this beautiful city that was made better by our stay at Hotel des Savoies. The hotel is centrally located with a major train station nearby and easy access to both sides of the city. We were able to walk everywhere during our stay. Check-in was a breeze and the staff were very friendly and helpful. We were celebrating our one-year wedding anniversary at one of the many Michelin star restaurants and staff supplied us with iron and ironing board upon request. The room was a decent size, clean, and modern. We absolutely loved our stay in Lyon and would highly recommend this hotel.

Nice place, good value.
Very comfortable room in a good walking area. And as soon as I asked about parking the girl at the desk said "Oh, there's one of the free parking spaces open across the street! Do you want to run over there and save it for you?" She did. Only a few spaces like that in the whole neighborhood. Saved me €25 it would have cost to park in a normal street space overnight. So, a good experience.

Good for short stay, unfortunately you can hear everyone else in the corridor, and rooms doors being slammed. 8am some woman thought it would be a good idea to walk her crying baby up and down the hall

Met the 3'Cs Perfectly!
The staff were courteous, the room was clean, and it was very convenient to everything I wanted to get to. It doesn't look like much from the outside, but give it a chance. There isn't much of a lobby but who cares! Breakfast was adequate and there is this adorable elevator.

front desk ,only one staff is ok, but the young man try to ask tip for check in by hint me THAT OUR REGUALR CHECK IN TIME IS 3 PM ( there are full of aviable room, I saw othet guest checkin before me ..he is white, I am not ), so I gave the checkin staff dollars... IS THAT GOOD MANAGEMENT ?

It was a fantastic hotel. We stayed for a week.
The only criticism were the maids who failed to supply us with a supply of coffee, sugar and clean cups. They were left dirty !

A bit like the Curate's Egg
First the good points: The hotel was well sited in a quiet street close to Perrache tram/metro/rail station and near to Bellecour. The room was very well sound-proofed and the air coditioning was also very good. The en-suite bathroom was also very good with a good supply of hot water. The Staff were very friendly and approachable. Now the bad points: The room was only 1metre wider than the bed which did not give much room for access on each side. The additional furniture comprised a large sofa and a chair which was not safe to sit on. There was some hanging space which was limited but no chest of drawers for small items of clothing which had to remain in suitcases. The was a good TV in the room but no access to any English speech channels. In summary the hotel was good for a one or two night stay, but we were there for a week and for that purpose was somewhat inadequte.
