It was a fantastic hotel. We stayed for a week.

Cons: AS above
Location: the theatre was magnificent.
The only criticism were the maids who failed to supply us with a supply of coffee, sugar and clean cups. They were left dirty !

A bit like the Curate's Egg

Pros: Sound-proofing, air conditioning and bathroom.
Cons: A set of drawers for small items of clothing is a basic expectation for a 3star hotel and there should be TV channels in english
Location: Very good with easy access to local transport facilities
First the good points: The hotel was well sited in a quiet street close to Perrache tram/metro/rail station and near to Bellecour. The room was very well sound-proofed and the air coditioning was also very good. The en-suite bathroom was also very good with a good supply of hot water. The Staff were very friendly and approachable. Now the bad points: The room was only 1metre wider than the bed which did not give much room for access on each side. The additional furniture comprised a large sofa and a chair which was not safe to sit on. There was some hanging space which was limited but no chest of drawers for small items of clothing which had to remain in suitcases. The was a good TV in the room but no access to any English speech channels. In summary the hotel was good for a one or two night stay, but we were there for a week and for that purpose was somewhat inadequte.

Good location, very cental

I was disappointed, because I booked a hotel with parking, but parking is only available if you ring them and book the parking. You have to then look for a parking space, which is very hard and your cost for the stay goes up by 20 euros.

Our only complaint is that they state they have parking. It for a mid size hotel, they have only a few spaces. They should state that parking reservation is required so you know whether or not there is space. Otherwise parking on the street is 4€ for 1.5 hours. Very expensive.

No frill hotel in the heart of the city

Centrally located. Fully renovated. You will get a bit of noise when people talk in the corridor and slam their doors. Staff is friendly.
