"I was nervous based off other reviews I have read, but we had a great time here! We were three couples traveling together and had a lot of fun. Rooms were nice, hotel grounds are beautiful! A nice surprise was we got a butler, Christian, who was amazing!!! He booked every reservation for dinner for us-he made our trip seamless and very easy! Beach was nice, yes there is seaweed for the time of year but it’s not bad as they clean it up! No issues with staff, they were all very kind! When they overheard it was my birthday at breakfast they started singing to me and brought out an entire cake (that was delicious!) The food was good, I would give it an 8/10 overall. Some limited options for breakfast and lunch buffets but can not comment on dinner buffet, as we had a reservation for dinner ever night. We ate at the steakhouse, KOI, la palapa (Italian), and the gourmet restaurant (French) Highly recommend KOI, we had the teppanyaki and sushi which were both delicious! The gourmet restaurant was also really good, I got the seabass which was delicious! However, overall the proteins are usually overcooked. Still tastes good though. ALSO yes there are resort kitties AND beach dogs.. it is clear the cats are well taken care of at resort but the dogs definitely need some water and food so bring treats!!!"

"My goodness, when I tell you that my husband and I had the absolute best honeymoon here, we can’t wait to come back. We upgraded our room on day one and they put us in the top floor honeymoon suite. Everything was clean, the staff were wonderful, the food was delicious. We enjoyed getting up and coming down for breakfast every morning at the buffet and having eggs made fresh in front of me, they had a wonderful assortment of fruits and different food options. The pineapples were sweet every single time! My husband and I did our excursions through the hotel which provided transportation there and back each time. The only downside to this entire vacation was that the pool closed at 7 PM, this was annoying because this was often when we would get back from our excursions around 6 or 7 PM. It was also kind of frustrating seeing the people who had “swim out” pools get to enjoy swimming right from their bedroom after hours while the main pool was closed. Aside from this we had a wonderful time, it was a magical experience!"

"Resort was perfect! They gave their own man made sandy area with chairs and tiki umbrellas. Right on an ocean cliff you can jump into the crystal clear waters for swimming and snorkeling. A ladder makes in and out access easy! They also have three salt water infinity pools overlooking the ocean with incredible sunset views. The rooms, the staff, bar, and food were all great. Plenty of food options. We loved the two included sit down restaurants. Couldn’t recommend more!"
