Many guests choose to rent a car for added convenience and flexibility, as it makes exploring the area and nearby attractions a breeze. However, if you prefer not to drive, taxis are readily available to take you around town, to the Malecón, the beautiful beaches, or downtown La Paz. Other Things to Note: IMPORTANT TO NOTE: The area experiences water shortages where at times you can be without water for 4-5 hours. Recycled water is an easy alternative to help us, and the environment, with the shortage of water resources. We ask that you please use water consciously, turning it off when it's absolutely not needed and recycle your shower water for times when needed to flush the toilet. (Simply place the bucket under the running shower while you wait for the water to warm up and use it later, if needed, to flush the bathroom). The TVs are equipped with streaming services to provide various entertainment options. Please note that cable channels are not available. Please refrain from consuming food or beverages in the living room. Please follow all pool rules at the complex. All guests must wear swimwear. Entry to the pool area is permitted only when wearing suitable swimwear. \*\*\* Please be advised that the pool will be undergoing maintenance until further notice. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause and appreciate your understanding as we work to ensure the pool is in top condition for future use.\*\*\* We provide some basic essentials complimentary upon arrival (note: these are not replenished): drinking water, a roll of paper towels, a set of napkins, a sponge, liquid soap & trash bags. And in each bathroom, you’ll find a roll of toilet paper, some liquid hand soap, a bar of soap for the shower, shampoo, and bath towels. Please keep in mind that any damaged or lost items such as towels, sheets, blankets, broken armchairs, furniture or wall stains will be charged at the time of check out. Electricity is not included for long-term stays of 15 nights or more. There’s a $56 USD weekly electricity fee in this case, charged on the day of check in to be paid in cash to our local team. Guests will be requested to sign a Rental Agreement upon booking confirmation. A security deposit may be required prior to arrival or at check-in, subject to the booking platform used to make the reservation. This fee is charged as a credit card transaction and refunded after check-out, provided all terms are met. There is a penalty of $20.00 USD for late check-outs. You will be responsible for any damages made to the furniture during your stay. \- Please close and lock all doors and windows upon check out. By failing to do so you will incur a penalty of $50 USD. To ensure full transparency, we want to let you know that the upkeep of common areas is managed by the complex administration. While we strive to provide an excellent experience, the condition of these areas is beyond our control. Please note that you may hear dogs barking during your stay, as some neighboring homes have dogs. As a precaution, please do not lock the interior doors, as we do not have keys to open them if needed. First, note that this residential area is guard gated. You’ll need to drive to the visitor’s gate on the right to get checked in by the guard and then continue on to the condo building. Beware of almost everything else though. Furniture was sticky and had a foul odor. Beds were horribly uncomfortable, possibly bed bugs. The king size bed was not in the master bedroom, so had to traipse from room to room to use the bathroom, take a shower, and get dressed. Remember to take utensils etc if you plan to eat in. There were three forks one of which was bent and non usable. A few plates, no wineglasses. TV in bedroom inoperable.Building maintenance was incredibly friendly, however, did not speak English. ##### Terresa W. Just a couple things that could be improved. Large frying pan a must. Steak knives would be nice and a bread knife. We supplied scissors and bbq lighter and left them there for the next group. The deadbolt is very sticky and needs to be fixed. The alignment is off. Too much jimmying to try and open the door, hard on the fingers. It’s an older complex so I understand everything is not perfect. The maintenance guy should whip down the bbq area everyday. Very dusty. Just a couple minor hiccups along the way. Kitchen sink not draining and the shower and toilet in the main got plugged. Maintenance was called and fixed in a timely manor. Thank you. ##### Deb C.
