The floor would have been comfier to sleep on than the bed. Might as well have used paper towels as pillows. The shower was not drained and was dirty.

This property is very run down, it must have been really nice maybe 25y ago but now it has mold in all the wood fixture like cabinets and doors and the paint in the bathroom is bubbling off the walls. We found many cockroaches in our room, it was disgusting.

The man that checked us in was wonderful. The place is absolutely gorgeous it just as in disrepair and needs a lot of repairs. The walls in our room or super thin or you could hear a pin drop even in the other rooms they need some insulation. The pool needs to be drained and chlorine needs to be put inside of it if someone came in here with about 500 grand and then an overhaul this place would be the bomb.

My stay was ok I guess. Items that were suppose to be available upon request are not so don’t bother. We ended bringing one more child that was one and didn’t even think will be a big deal and immediately they wanted to charge us for an adult. The rooms are ok. Kitchenette is just a sink. No microwave available. In the beginning the rooms were being cleaned soon after it was just the beds. The only amazing thing is the pool. And how u can overlook the ocean. I will book elsewhere next time

Great room set up
Beautiful property but not very operational.The swimming pools are cold, the jacuzzi is green & cold. The room is a great set up to share. Separate rooms with king beds & sitting area, couches between. Wonderful hot shower. Coffee pot in room, great view.

The place was massive but eerily empty. We arrived late , like 7 pm, and went to the huge restaurant and it was empty.

Hotel is very old . Doors dont work well, wall plugs loose, my bed had stain of blood on mattress , room dusty . The hotel is very dark , pool very dirty. Not worth staying here at all they should just shut down the hotel .

It was filthy! The hotel had cockroaches running everywhere. They are absolutely infested!!! The water was dirty and infested with mosquitos. Stay away from this location!

Upon arrival we were told of a wedding that night. The band included a trumpet that made it feel like they were right in our room all night. The staff were uninformed about what was open or closed. They directed us to the restaurant only to find out it was closed for the wedding. Rooms were large but dingy and bathroom had a bad smell. Grout was peeling off and dirty. No place to park either due to the wedding

Location is a 10 minute drive from town and not walkable to anything. Looks over marina but not able to swim there. The pool area is beautiful. The room was large but shower pressure was very poor, there was a lamp that needed replaced. Staff was friendly.

For four years now, hot tub hasn't worked, drain bugs, ants, creepy workers (I come to Mexico many times a year, these guys were extremely creepy). Low water pressure, polited water from garbage place next door and you need a car to go anywhere.

Great Spanish Colonial type hotel in a very nice, convenient location in La Paz. Excellent staff, nice, spacious rooms with large bathroom and closets. excellent for the price, couldn't find better.

Room was dirty and not updated. Hotel tub when you stood on it will move. Smell old and sink was dirty like it has not been used for a while. The room door had broblems locking and was cracked

Grand Plaza Hotel/Suites--La Paz, Mexico
The condition of the hotel and grounds were A+. However were issued a ground floor room with an abomination for a shower. The shower head was from WW2, had obvious leaks around the tub where they had mightily tried to fix the leaks. Another quirk--has a "kitchen" with chairs tables, mini fridge and coffee maker but no stove and no microwave. Strange. Pool is NOT heated so beware if you check in November thru February. Close/walking distance to WalMart however neighborhood I can only classify as "industrial". If i ever go back it would be because of the staff--to a person they were nice, pleasant, helpful and courteous. The onsite restaurant has very good food, white linen table clothes however only a semblance of a bar. Location-wise you are only 10 minutes from the airport and 10 miutes walking to WalMart.

Luxurious hotel, but quite empty during our stay. Lots of friendly staff around as there were few visitors. The interior of buildings and pool/gardens were wonderful. The location is not great and there were a few issues with lights not working, but well worth the money we paid. Excellent breakfast buffet!

It is time to update the bathrooms. I am short! Had problems getting into tub/shower? Internet didn't work int the room, had to sit on the patio to use the internet.

Totally impressed!
What a beautiful hotel that overlooks the bay. We stayed here for a week in March in one the Delphin rooms with 2 King beds on the main floor. Very spacious room with a great deck and a limited view of the bay. From the moment we checked in, everything went extremely well! Had a rental car, but for the first 3 days just hung out at the hotel - great food with pool service, pools, beach, internet access, excellent service by staff and 2 free bottles of water included daily. No shops nearby (10-15 min outside of the Malecon area), but Wal-Mart is in walking distance. Nice and peaceful! Only complaint was that their hot tub wasn't heated (apparently it was getting repaired) and the excercise room needs a bit of TLC. It was interesting to witness how many women came dressed up with a photographer in tow to get their pictures taken by the sandy beach/palm trees/pools. We felt privaledged to be there. Great setting for a wedding and other functions. Wireless throughout. Peaceful setting. Taxis all around, but we had our own rental car. Could walk to Wal-Mart, and the Malecon was about 15 min away by car. Want to come back next year in Feb to snorkel with Whale Sharks!

The place to stay in LaPaz
The hotel is on a quiet bay. It is at the end of the access street and is very secure. The malecon and central area of La Paz is about 10 minutes away. However, there is a Wal-Mart, Sam's Club abd a VIPs restaurant within three minutes of the hotel. We reserved the cheapest of the suites and we very pleased with appoinment and size of the suite itself. The restaurant that is onsite was very good and had a beautiful view. The hotel staff was excellent. We will return

Hotel is 15 years old but very nice. View of swimming pools and Palapa from our patio was fantastic. Lots of space in our room. Clenliness of swimming pools could be improved. We would definately go back. Price through Expedia was very nice.

Excelente en relación calidad/precio
Excelente la tranquilidad del lugar. Había muchas cosas en proceso de mantenimiento pero es entendible. Estaban cambiando de proveedor de cable, la alberca con vista al mar es perfecta, pero las otras estaban vacías y sucias, espero que pudieran hacer algo al respecto. Excelente el desayuno.

Es un hotel amplio y alejado del malecon, pero bastante bien el personal súper amable, tiene amplio estacionamiento, un hotel bueno, lo único es que la alberca a mi punto de vista le falta un poco de mantenimiento, pero en general buen hotel
