Lovely stay
Very big apartment, big kitchen and bathroom, comfortable bed. Good location, safe. Staff super helpful, able to book us cabs and help with itinerary. Good breakfast and restaurant on site. Great spa- massage.

Lovely Hotel
The hotel was exactly what we were looking for. The room provided was perfect, large and comfortable. The service and attention from the staff was excellent. You won’t be disappointed staying here.

Rooms were spacious and very nice. The staff was very friendly and responsive to our needs. We were getting an early start for a day trip and would miss their complimentary breakfast and they were nice enough to pack us a breakfast to go. Definitely recommended.

Due to protests in Uyuni we had to cancel our 3 day trip to Uyuni. So we switched from another hotel to Camino Real and had excellent experience. This hotel helped us to reduce our disappointment due to unforeseen changes in our vacation plans. Bed Rooms, kitchen, living room, spa facilities and restaurant were excellent.

The property was in a nice location. The rooms were spacious but very outdated. The kitchen was old and the bathrooms as well. The staff was friendly and they provide tours if you need or taxi assistance.

A very nice place - clean, spacious and the staff are wonderful. Very nice food in the restaurant, breakfast is a huge and delicious buffet. I travelled with my sister, and we had 2 bedroom apt with 2 bathrooms and a huge living room. Full kitchen, not just a kitchenette and a dining area.

Comfortable base on La paz
The hotel in located little bit outside historical core, but is very comfortable base for family. The restaurant is very good. The hotel is older apartment converted to a. Hotel, so each tolm has kitchen, our unit was 2bedroom 2 baths. Spotless and the staff was extremely helpful. Access to downtown is either by walking. Cab (very cheap) or telerifico (cable car)

It’s an oasis in La Paz. You’re jn a nice neighborhood (albeit less restaurants and markets available close by). The sauna is amazing, gym is practically brand new and you have your own space to enjoy television and feel like home.

Hotel staff was exceptional. Some members of our party did not speak Spanish but most of the staff there did speak English or at least understood some of it. The rooms were very nice and clean and the restaurant was outstanding. We ate most all of our meals there. Highly recommend it.

Location was great in a bustling city full of life and activity. Walking distance to everything. Hotel is clean, friendly, and comfortable. The views from our top floor room were awesome. Great for long term visits as long as you can handle the altitude of course....

Overall it’s a comfort hotel. The only unsatisfied thing is that they ask 100BOB for the use of oxygen for the relief of altitude sickness which could be free in other hotels.

Hello, We understand the situation with the oxigen thank, we only charge that said amount when somebody wants to use the whole thank, which can last for an entire day, if one wants to use it just for relief for a period of time it is absolutely free, however we are taking inmediate action to see what can be done in this situation. Nice hotel in a quiet area but still close to city
We only had four nights here but they were perfect! The apartment was very tidy and had everything we needed. The shower was nice and hot with good pressure - exactly what we needed after a hard day biking down Death Road. All staff were incredibly helpful in all aspects of our stay including organising taxi shuttles to/from the airport. We would definitely stay here again when we come back to La Paz.

Very nice service....
We had to leave for airport 5 am.......the personnel in the check in counter right away offer us the breakfast box to get delivered the evening before, that was very nice service of the hotel.

Perfectly fine hotel
Nice hotel, a bit dated but close to restaurants and has the facilities for you to feel more like you're at home than in a restaurant; important if you've been travelling around a lot. Comfy bed, pillow was a little hard but they have a pillow menu for you to make changes of you want. Good water pressure in the shower.

Nice stay for the buck
Good hotel, but not 5 stars! Restaurant buffet, same every day. Sauna waa a big reason i took hotel, but it was OOS the entire trip.

A good base for a stay in La Paz
We had a one bedroom apartment with a full kitchen!! The location is a good base and the reception staff were all very helpful and accommodating. There are plenty of restaurants nearby and the hotel restaurant seemed busy for lunch and dinner. The breakfast is basic. If coming to La Paz again, I would stay here.

Excellent apartment hotel!
We stayed a week at the Camino Real and I would highly recommend it. The staff was very nice, helpful and accommodating. We had a 2 bedroom 2 bath apartment on the 4th floor with a beautiful view of Mount Illimani. The room was clean and had a nice little kitchen with all the utensils we needed. The hotel has an excellent on site restaurant. The buffet breakfast and fresh made omelettes were great. The lunch and dinner menus had many items to choose from and the soup/salad bar was outstanding. Again, the wait staff was very friendly and efficient. The location is centrally located so it's easy to get a cab (hotel staff is very helpful) or walk to nearby places. We didn't utilize the spa, but I'd expect that too would be clean and nice given the rest of the hotel. Again, I would highly recommend Camino Real. Thank you to the staff for taking such good care of us on our visit to La Paz.

Not a great hotel
I had a 2 bedroom suite. The shower curtain was as stiff as a board and came in on you while showering. On one of the days I found a dirty boot footprint left on the toilet seat, no idea why this was there. Breakfast was ok butt just that. The spa closed earlier on one of the days and this was the only day I had free, they give no reason why they closed early. I woke every night with a very dry mouth and there was no AC running. I've stayed in other hotels close by and this has never been a problem before. I believe that this is a problem with the building.
