"The room smelt very strongly of sewage, upon telling staff they said it was normal when it rains, and not offered another room. The next day the smell was still there even though a cleaner had been the previous day with chemicals. We asked if we could leave and be refunded the remainder of the stay, but they said a refund wouldn't be granted (though we were given a bottle of wine). I would not stay again as the room was not at all fit for purpose and it ruined our holiday."

"Couldn’t reccomend this hotel more! I booked last minute for 2 nights after missing a flight. The whole hotel is incredible. From the staff to the food everything was perfect. I am coeliac and was looked after brilliantly in the restaurant. Will definitely be back!"

"A used sanitary product was found in our room when we arrived that was not ours, staff were made aware and could not have cared less which made us question the cleanliness of the room and whether the sheets had even been changed due to this and the thick layer of dust in the room Food was beyond poor we stopped eating from the hotel, staff would not let you into the dining area without a room card despite them having a sheet of room numbers and names, and the wristbands you are made to wear Internet had no connection Hotel also accepted 3 large groups of 40+ school kids during our stay which was extremely off putting Environment was chaotic, there were queues to get into the dining area and kids running riot every time you went in Storage in the rooms was also limited there was no where to put suitcases as they do not fit under the bed and rooms were extremely noisy (potentially due to the large groups of school kids)"

"We had a brilliant stay at Hotel Good River. Great value for a 4 night stay including breakfast which offered a great selection of options. Staff were helpful and well organised at getting lots of people seated quickly. Loved how near the park we were and enjoyed the pool too. "

"Staff friendly and helpful. Went out of season and hotel was grubby in communal areas. I could imagine pool area being too small when the is hotel busy. Overall, a good stay for price paid."
