A decent low budget motel by the interstate. Room was clean and the breakfast was surprisingly good. The lady on the front desk was extremely friendly.

STAY AWAY! My husband who is 76 and has Parkinson’s accidentally hit the wrong key on his phone and made a reservation. He immediately tried to cancel. Expedia called the hotel twice to talk to the owner and they refused. Anybody that takes advantage of an elderly man who simply made a mistake doesn’t deserve your business

Please know the true facts before writing a negative review about my property. First of all when Expedia called the property the owner was NOT at the property. After I heard about the situation we went ahead and refunded you the FULL Amount that was charged on your credit card, you need to check with your bank because it takes 7 to 10 business days to see the refund depending on the bank. We do have a late cancellation policy stated on expedia website. We just don't take money away from people so don't underestimate Stagecoach motel.

Stopped in La Junta on our way to Denver. Quick check in with online reservation. Real key for your room. Updated, clean and comfortable room. Love that they are being eco conscious by using real coffee cups and pump containers for hygiene products instead of disposable. Soft towels!

Hard to know whether smaller mom/pop motels will be good or bad. Overall i was very please with the clean room, functional appliances, and fast friendly front desk service. Other reviews mention issues with train noise, but this wasn't noticable during my stay.

Wasn’t busy at all for a Saturday night, ample parking and a nice Asian restaurant with antique stores nearby. Rooms were clean and cozy, staff were friendly and kind.

David, Do not degrade my property without even staying at the motel. we were kind enough to cancel your reservation without charging you a fee.First of all on Hotels.com website it states quite clearly that we do Not allow PETS, so why did make your reservation and bring your dog with you.(It doesn't make sense).Read the fine print before making your reservations.

La Junta is a small town with a few small motels. Stagecoach has been the best. It’s older but it’s clean, it’s quiet, and the bed was comfy. Definitely our go to when we come to town to visit!

1/2 the cost of other motels in town, nice and clean rooms, very quiet. Kim, the receptionist, is very kind and hospitable. The TV service didn’t connect right, but we aren't big TV watchers anyway. Good place to stay.

Review of the establishment.
The room was clean, the bed was comfortable and the plumbing worked just fine. I had no problems with road noise and even though the railroad is near by I wasn’t disturbed by that either. The rooms are sufficiently quiet and comfortable to provide a good nights rest.

Dependable Motel
Great little place, decent coffee, comfy beds and fridge/freezer combo so we can refreeze our ice packs. The bath towels are a little small. We stay here several times each year as we pass through LaJunta.

Old but nice
This is an older property but it was clean, comfy, and inexpensive. We knew we'd be leaving before breakfast so the thoughtful front desk gal gave us some yogurts to go. You'll hear trains go by at night, but noise from other rooms was minimal.

An overall good value. I have stayed here in the past and will continue to do so when I drive down from Denver to do some fishing. They furnish all that I need and the rooms are clean.

I got exactly what I paid for during my 6 night stay. This property is the ideal choice if you ONLY need a place to lay your head. Sleep isn’t guaranteed. (Adjacent highway and rail line run LOUD through the night.) No bells. No whistles. No hospitality. “Included Continental breakfast” = Little Debbie brand Glazed Honey Buns, hand fruit and weak coffee. Never any lids for the cups. The “Wifi” is reportedly emitted/distributed through two locations. My room, which was located dead center of this motel, couldn’t receive a strong enough signal for any laptop or mobile work for either signal. After the first night of realizing this, I asked the women working the front desk/cleaning the rooms if it would be possible for a switch rooms to either side of the property to resolve this. My request was ignored. Using the hand soap/shampoo dispenser was a practice frustration management. It seemed like if you needed something for your stay, you should have brought it with you because they couldn’t be bothered. The perfect category for this motel is: “You Get What You Pay For.” Lesson learned.

This property was fine for the money and located well for what we needed. It was a little shopworn but again, it did the job for a reasonable cost. Clean and spacious for our needs.

While it is a good value, comfortable and quiet, the clock alarmed at midnight. And, the desk area was supposed to have breakfast at 6:30 but was still locked at 6;36.

We were in town just for a night. Staff was very nice when we checked in. Hotel was quiet despite being fully booked. The room was clean. The hotel is older. Parts of the bathroom had been updated. One of the walls has definitely seen better days- had some water damage.

The Stagecoach was comfortable. The room heaters are wonderful, quiet and efficient. The check in was friendly and rooms were clean. The facility is an older facility but they seem to be doing a good job at keeping it usable. I appreciate that. Priced right!

First of all, this place is very easy to find! Without even entering the address in Google Maps, I drove right past it. The staff was extremely friendly, and the room was clean. Other guests appeared to be mostly older couples, and it was very quiet (especially for a weekend night!) and felt safe. I will definitely stay here again.

We needed a place to rest as a midway point of our trip. The Stagecoach Motel was clean and affordable. No frills. The front desk clerk was kind when we checked in at 1:30 am. That's pretty amazing!

It is in the town but quiet. Staff was very pleasant. Flowers outside were a nice touch. It could have just been my room but it stunk really bad. I booked because it was a great deal and it had a high rating but once in the room, I thought about leaving even though it was non refundable. Replace your carpets to get the stench out. Hate to give this review to a small business but the high rating just isn't right.
