The room was nice and spacious. What I didn't like was the lack of lighting in our room. The Spa area was good. I would have liked the option of a steam room. Also, it would have been good if someone could have taken us around the complex. It took me a day or so to find out where everything was.

Overall our stay here was mediocre. Spent 2 nights at the hotel. When we arrived, service at reception was not warm or friendly, rather neutral for lack of a better word. The hot springs were not hot but rather warm. The walls in the shower had soap scum and needed to be scrubbed down. The hotel has central a/c so you can’t adjust the temperature. Both nights I went to bed feeling hot, thankfully a few hours into the night the room cooled off. Leaving the window opened overnight was not an option as our room was on the 1st floor and anyone could easily get into our bedroom. On a positive note service at breakfast was great. One of our servers, an older gentleman, was very kind and attentive, he made sure to approach us to let us know that if we needed anything we should feel free to ask. There was great variety at breakfast from fruit, to eggs, to sausage, cold cuts, cheese, and oatmeal. They were able to bring me warm soy milk upon request. The town in general wasn’t what I expected, seems everyone knows each other and starred at us like outsiders, they must not get much visitors. We passed on exchanging currency at the airport thinking this would be an option at either the hotel or town and that was a mistake. There is no place to change you cash to Euros. This resulted in us having to withdraw money from a Santander ATM which had high fees and a horrible exchange rate, as expected. Finally, I will not return to this hotel, felt I saw everything I needed to see in 2 days.

Couldn't control the temperature in the room as the controller on the wall was not working and could only get radio channels on the tv which could be my fault but wasn't a complicated remote. Food in restaurant excellent and breakfast too. Didn't use the spa but it looks good

Room was very dusty in need of a proper clean and outdoor spa facilities were disappointing - heated pools were too cold to stay in and surrounding areas were dangerous to walk on - lifted flag stones etc. Staff and food in restaurant were excellent and village was lovely for a stroll/coffee

Great stay at a great spa hotel!
We came for just a one night stay but had a great relaxing time making the most of the hotels spa facilities..... although we came with our one year old, the hotel have set times when you can bring your children into the facilities which was very convenient for us and for other guests who don't have kids.... probably a poster advertising these times would be good for guests without children who tend to look down their noses a little at younger guests! The breakfast was great too with many healthy options for those on a diet There wasn't a great deal to do in the surrounding area but we came purely for the hotel facilities which satisfied our needs 100% and we'll definitely come back!

Great hotel in great location, lacking in detail
Lovely village, beautiful surroundings and a very well facilitated spa. Not many non-Spanish tourists provide a fresh breath of air. Very good quality food as well (breakfast and in the restaurant). But too many details lacking in care in finesse to make it a really great stay; outdoor pools closed for maintenance, without any prior warning / announcement, impossible to find staff in the bar when you need them, TV in one of the rooms not working and could not be fixed, also had to move rooms because one of the showers broke, taxi wasn't ordered when asked for it etc.

It's a spa experience. The restaurant is swank and the breakfast buffet outstanding. My only issue was the limited availability of salt and pepper. The last morning I finally found one shaker set on the way out. The spa services are excellent. I'd go back in a heartbeat.

Very peacefull.
The hotel is located in a very nice little town which is about 40 mints away from the city. Hotel is very clean and has great facilities perfect if you want to get away from your nornal stressful lives.

Excellent spa.
The hotel is amazing. The swimming pools and spa are not to be missed. Excellent check in, good bar and food. Rooms have dressing gowns and slippers. Marble bathroom. A definite 4 star place to stay.

Not a pleasant stay...Stayed in the lobby for more than 2 hours before getting the room key. Hotel asked additional 80Euros for the wife. Not reasonalable. Will not going back. Also, the dinner included has the same menu every day...Overall, it is a terrible experience after travels 150 days/year.

Very tired hotel, paint peeling off the outer walls, cracked windows with tape across them? On arrival in the town, I thought the hotel had closed down, it looked so bad! Advertised as a 4 star, but are best 2. Lots of equipment in the spa was broken and obviously had been for some time. No hot water in the spa showers. Restaurant set menu was very poor for the 30 euro price excluding drinks. Staff made mistakes at check in, the spa, restaurant and at check out, everybody was sorry, at a very sorry hotel.

I traveled alone, wanting to just escape for a couple of days. Very relaxing stay. Quiet hotel. Easy to get to from the train station. Room was a bit dark, with only a couple of lamps in the main part but this was ok. The spa was brilliant. An ideal place for a bit of 'me time'.

A tired hotel with few staff
The hotel looks lovely at first glance and they clearly aspire to be higher-end, but on closer inspection it all looks very tired and in need of some TLC. There was only one restaurant open, which although was very good had a limited repertoire. Room service was hit and miss and the bar lacked staff so there was always a wait for service. My telephone could not make international calls which was inconvenient as I had no mobile service, although there was hotel wifi which worked well. Mini bar was poorly stocked and there were things missing that you would otherwise expect from a 4* hotel, such as a safe and a hairdryer. The bed was very uncomfortable and my air-con stopped working on the second day which meant sleeping was impossible. The spa was well designed but again lots of things did not work and there was significant amounts of peeling paint caused by condensation from the heated pools.

Spa hotel outside Barcelona
Stayed for three nights in this hotel 45 minutes by train from central Barcelona. Overall a pleasant experience. especially enjoyed the hearty breakfast. Not a wide choice of dishes but what there was was well-cooked and set one up for the day ahead. Check in and check out were both handled efficiently and no real complaints about anything. Interaction with staff was minimal as breakfast was self-service and only really needed to check in and out.

Oysters and Wild Boar steaks to die for. Breakfast lovely. Pools and spa fantastic. Helpful staff. Massive superb bed. Easy to find and a nice, cheap train ride to Barcelona. Going back for a week next Year.

very disappointing stay. Reception staff very off, however restaurant staff very pleasant. We went half board which was a mistake as the options were the same every nights. Breakfast was ok. Room very basic and would be rated as two stars. Balcon was overlooking a building and you could not really have sat for lack of space. Spa was adequat but rather tired. Several of the facilities were either closed or broken.
