"Velas Vallarta was a total win! The place was gorgeous, with amazing landscaping and everything was super clean. The staff was awesome – friendly and always helpful. We got the all-inclusive package, so no surprise bills which was nice. Our room (a studio suite) was comfy with a king bed and a sleeper sofa, perfect for our little family. There were these great big pools, but no hot tub which was a bit of a bummer. The food scene was hit or miss – some dishes were fantastic, others just okay. But hey, there was always tons to choose from including buffets and a salad bar, so we never left hungry. The beach was right there, but water was not swimmable during our stay. Still, the location was perfect – close to the airport and just a 20-minute ride from Malecón. Overall, we had a blast and would definitely go back!"
