Very stylish hotel in the middle of the Croisette in Cannes - 10 minutes walk from almost eveything you might want - the smart shops on Rue d'Antibes, a handful of excellent restaurants, the station, the Palais des Festivals and the old town. Sleek comfortable rooms with loads of space and modern bathrooms, great beds and the premier rooms have a view to die for. Food is expensive but excellent quality - the buffet breakfast is very good with a wide choice, all the baked goods are outstanding.
Service is very French - efficient but not over friendly. It helps if you speak some French.
We visited on the 4th Jan for 3 nights.
Wonderful luxury living 10 minute walk to the old town.
Huge bed,a choice of pillows ,nespresso machine.
Very attentive staff,we stayed on the 4th floor partial sea view.
It was actually a great sea view and of La Napoule too.
We felt breakfast was a little to expensive but to be fair we had our 3 month old with us an didnt feel wed be able to do it justice !
This hotel is so child friendly you wouldnt believe it!
All areas are child friendly including the cocktail bar .
The cot provided in the room was great !
the hotel,lent us a stroller.
We took the 210 bus both ways from nice airport.
30 mins and 33 euros return.per person.
Drops you 10 mins from the hotel at the old town.
Possibly one of the best hotels ive ever stayed in for attention to detail and guest service.
They honestly couldnt do enough for us.
Well be back !
"WONDERFUL staff will definitely make me come again"
The hotel is located right in the middle between Rue d'Antibes and La Croisette, making its location perfect in my opinion. Besides the location though, the key seller to this hotel for me was the staff. I found the staff to be extremely friendly and helpful whenever I needed anything. Even if you don't stay at the nicest hotel, but the staff at the hotel can make all the difference during your stay. The staff at Five Seas did not disappoint. I plan to visit Cannes again in the near future, and when I do, I will definitely be staying at Five Seas again.
This is a high class hotel, no complaints about staff. Paid for rooms for 4 adults however was given one room for 5 day stay. The bed sheets were not changed everyday just a tidy up. Two adults slept on a rollabed which was very uncomfortable. It's a hotel where celebrities stay and the prices of everything reflect that. Good to experience it however lesson learnt the pictures never reflect room.
I have been visiting for years when it had three stars. now the hotel boasts four. All down to the owner Mme Annick
Cagnat whose family have owned the hotel for 40 years. Its small, personal, grand and homely at the same time
And the breakfast room/ lounge is a delight. Excellent choice of breakfast hot and cold, but please get rid of the frankfurters. Real French sausages are better for breakfast. You feel almost like a house guest.
Front desk reps very good. Maid service not good. One maid walked in on me as I was getting out of shower! No coffee maker, just cheap instant. Even Hotel 6 has coffee makers in room. Maids didn't replace glasses with clean ones several times.
