The worst part was arriving late after already paying through Expedia, only to have the owner insist that I pay a second time directly to him. He refused to let me check in and was very rude, leaving me stranded with my luggage while I spent a long time on the phone with Expedia, with no taxis available that late. "I had a great overall stay at Planet Hollywood Costa Rica and would definitely return. The property was beautiful, clean, and well maintained, and the staff were friendly, polite, and helpful. I loved the variety of restaurants, and the Guest Services team was phenomenal in helping me secure restaurant reservations throughout my stay. I stayed for my birthday, so I was disappointed that the hotel itself did not acknowledge it, especially since they knew I was traveling specifically to celebrate. Guesto Restaurant did make my birthday very special, which I truly appreciated. I also purchased a birthday package, but the balloons I selected were unavailable and had to be substituted. My biggest disappointment was Nexus, the onsite company handling transportation and excursions. I waited about two hours at the airport because they were waiting for other guests, even though I saw people who arrived after me leave before me. My excursion driver was also nearly 30 minutes late due to a communication issue regarding my pickup time. Most concerning, Nexus had no record of my prepaid private airport transportation when it was time to leave. I had to prove the booking and arrange everything again about an hour before my flight, which was extremely stressful. Overall, I loved the resort and would absolutely stay again. However, I would arrange my own transportation and excursions rather than use Nexus."

"Es un buen hotel, cuenta con lo necesario para hacer actividades sin salir del hotel a un precio razonable. En relaciòn al restaurante, los precios deben ser màs accesibles para los que se hospedan ya que todo queda lejos del hotel, recomiendo alquilar vehiculo. El desayuno buffet estuvo excelente. Por ùltimo y no menos importante, deben poner Aires acondicionados porque ir de vacaciones y tener que dormir con calor no es còmodo. Solo tienen un abanico de techo en el medio de la habitaciòn que el aire no llega a las camas. El personal muy atento, en especial el guia Carlos del recorrido a caballo."
