The location on the beach was fantastic, the room was exceptional and the staff could not do enough to help and were all so friendly. The whole site is huge and after a week we were still discovering new areas. It would have been nice to have had a better "introduction" talk explaining what was included, such a free cocktails and meals in the Grand Club, which was included in the room we booked.

When we first checked in into our room, the bed had stains on it and the bathroom had smudges of sauce/blood. We asked them to come to clean it. Then we realised the fridge was not working and kids couldn’t have the milk as it was warm and they came and replaced fridge. Also the pillows were very high and a low amount. For a 5 star hotel it should have enough staff but there are hardly any staff around to help you or for you to order. Keep away as it is not worse the money.

For Bali, this was quite overpriced, or at least at the time I stayed it was. The rooms are dated and smallish. The room balconies are tiny. The grounds are pretty but for Bali, nothing too unusual. For a little more money you can find something spectacular in this area, like Kempenski.

Great place. Excellent pool, very well done and beautiful. Great slide for the kids. Nice beach. Italian restaurant is very good. Staff is wonderful. Overall, an awesome place. One downside: King bed is two twins pushed together, and it is very hard. Not a plush soft bed. Slept fine in it, but expected something different.

The property is a bit older and I think it deserves some renovation. We were allocated a room which started to leak from the aircon duct, the staff moved us to another room. the housekeeping staff on occasion forgot to refill our shower gel and clean some glass on the floor, we needed to make several calls to them be able to fulfill our request. The property had a lot of activities for childern like game rooms, creche's, pools etc.which was a positive. The beach was very clean and the pool was amazing , we had a great time using these facilities. The restaurants (in-house) are very expensive and not as good as they need to be. The Bali Collection, right outside the resort had several dinner options which is what we availed most of the time. Overall, I wouldnt stay here for 2 weeks at a stretch like we did, but I would give it a 4/5 star review.

The hotel property is quite stunning and great location on a lovely beach. However in all my travels I have never been to a hotel with as many children under 12 years and especially toddlers and babies. The children under 12 staying free means the resort was packed with young families with 4 members per room. This meant that you could hear kids screaming or crying in just about any part of the resort. We have 3 teens who were also overwhelmed with the toddlers going amok all over resort. Anyone looking for a more peaceful experience should avoid this hotel during the peak season

We asked for two adjoining rooms and the staff did what they could to accomodate it. In the end they over delivered with adjoining rooms with a connecting door. The down side to that was that obviously the hotel has aged a bit. The air conditioning in both rooms was sub par and you could still perspire even though the settings were maxed out. In the end we had to get a maintenance man to clean the ducts and filters. After that, it worked better albeit not ideal. The other issue was a backed up toilet in one of the rooms. Again a maintenance man came to resolve the issue in a timely fashion. After a few goes with his plunger the toilet started to work again but there was still a slight stench coming from the cistern that led us to use only one for the remainder of our stay. All in all the staff did their best to accomodate us. The surroundings were very peaceful and we loved the dining options - a special shout out to the staff at Garden Cafe and Salsa Verde, they were very sweet and helpful with suggestions, the dish of note was the wagyu at Salsa Verde, it was melt in your mouth perfection! Our package also included the daily breakfast and happy our buffets. The value in those were insane! Free flow of soft drinks and coffees, daily changes in food options. No wonder we gained weight! And all topped off by very lovely and accommodating staff.

On the day of arrival 15/12, we were checked into a room which was way too far and difficult to find. Got it changed to one nearer the lobby. My husband got unwell on the first night. Had a fever and body aches. . On the 3rd day, to my shock, when I asked for beddings to be changed, I helped housekeeping and saw a mouldy wet patch on the duvet. It's was covered by the duvet cover ,so we didn't see I till we changed the beddings. My husband's condition got worse, fever, loss of appetite, which I believe was made worse by the mouldy duvet that he covered over him . The spores of the mould is truly bad for the health. I complained to the manager and they offered a complimentary 60 mins spa massage. And after much effort to get compensation, they waived the 1st 2 days dinner which was less than 1 million Idr and another dinner yesterday. . What I am trying to say , is that it wasn't enough when the guest health is affected by some dirty mouldy duvet. My partner got really sick. So what would you do Expedia , as we booked the hotel through you??

Beautiful hotel with great pool for the kids and great dining options including Breakfast buffet. Our room bathroom phone fell apart and the ceiling grate fell from the roof as it broke off nearly landing on our heads. Inside the air con was quite dirty and looked like it hadnt been cleaned for years. Had a bad experience with a fake taxi from Seminyak but all transport from the actual hotel was fantastic Shops, ice cream stalls, convenience shop, medical and money exchange all located within hotel Staff are kind and friendly 5 friends rooms were robbed though so lock up your belongings in the safe - hotel management wasnt very helpful with this situation
