I figured the location being close to the beach would be great but phase ii island is under lots of construction and doesn't have the services that phase I has so this is a great location if you want steps. "Hotel is a few steps away from the beach and rooms are spacious and clean...I was surprised they have a bathtub and fridge in the room, didnt expect that for the price i paid. But it was just inconvenient checking out from our room on the 3rd floor with all our baggages and without a lift."

"The Baros Island is beautiful and has an amazing house reef, with plenty of sharks, turtles, rays and an amazing array of beautiful fish. The resort in parts is a little tired and but the management are on the case. The food and service were first class and made for an delightful two weeks. Our host Shinta was excellent, no request was too much trouble and she was on hand to assist with any issues that arose. A special mention to Keeth in F&B his dedication to service and guest care were excellent. As was Chef Lakshitha in his warm hospitality and wonderful menus/creations. "

"The room was always spotless thanks to our room boy Rofikel, the food was consistently good and the restaurants were very tasty and fun. The entertainment options were plenty and we definitely had fun as well as enough time to relax. The spa was very relaxing and well worth the price. All the staff was amazing, kind, helpful and positive all the rime, truly an wonderful experience I would highly recommend."
