Simpel maar goed hotel voor 1 nacht

Wij verbleven er de 1e nacht bij aankomst in Kuching. Omdat wij er slechts 1 nacht verbleven kregen we een kamer zonder raam, niet al te groot maar wel schoon en prima. Het personeel is erg vriendelijk en behulpzaam. Het ontbijt bestond uit diverse nasi keuzes die werden opgewarmd in de magnetron. Na deze nacht kozen we er voor om voor een paar euro meer elders te verblijven.

The tune hotel is clean tick. The tune hotel is bright tick. The staff are relatively helpful tick. BUT there are two *VERY* serious problems with this hotel. First the context: Please be aware that Kuching, being located close to the Equator, is a very humid locale. It is the norm to have air-conditioning, particularly in South East Asia. It is important to read this review with this in mind. We were allocated on the third floor, the highest floor in this hotel. This itself is not a problem except for the scientific fact that hot air rises. Yet, the management, in its attempt to save costs (they are part of the same group that owns AirAsia a Malaysian budget airline operating at a loss), did not have the intelligence, to mount a large number of ceiling fans on the walls and therefore resulted in hot non-circulating air in the walk from the lift on the 3rd floor to the room itself. Thus after a couple of days in and out of such a "sick building", my wife was ill. And the second problem arose. NOWHERE IS IT STATED ON EXPEDIA'S site that guests can only get a *single* key card. This is ridiculous and very inconvenient. My wife wanted to sleep off her flu, yet I could not go out on my own as I would be unable to return without waking her up to open the door! So stay here but be prepared to pay for medical treatment after!

my room all power cut off at 330am !!!

WiFi sulks. Only watsapp is possible. Everything is chargeable , tv, air con. All in one for rm100. My tv aircon got cut off around 9 p.m.. another time at 330am!!! i have to go to lobby to renew my card. Hotel pay as u use system favors low budget travelers but when system faulty it disadvantage whole package payers. It's worse when staffs are not apologetic .

Parking is a major problem.difficult to find proper parking space...this hotel is not convenient for family with small children...need to pay for wifi..
