Close to downtown Kuching, this hotel was good cheap accommodation. Definitely recommend to overseas travelers visiting Kuching

We didn't expect any luxurious hotel, just clean and comfy to stay in and sleep well. The first day we arrived there was water spilled on the toilet floor. I let them know and someone was working on it, but clearly he couldn't fix it as there was water next day again. I told them about it but they didn't do anything, but moped it. They said it was holiday so there was no one to fix it and the hotel was fully booked so they couldn't change our room. Then, there was always some water on the floor. One night I realised that they didn't give us extra toilet paper, but we were tired and I didn't say anything and next morning, I used the one that I had. The toilet paper holder was uneven and another day, the paper roll fell into the water on the floor - as they just give only one roll per day - had to go downstairs to ask for another roll and I explained the guy in reception that the roll had dropped onto the floor water. He gave it to me and said that I had to be more careful! I still feel the same sensation when I recall the dialogue. It's ridiculous to say that! I couldn't believe that a host in a hotel tells a guest to be careful with toilet paper! Especially when it's their fault not to fix the bathroom stuff and they just give one roll per day. Apart from that guy, I don't remember his name, all the rest of the staff was very friendly and nice. Breakfast was fine too.

Nicest memories from Kuching

Posted 19-Mar-2016 on Hotels
Hotel is providing transfer services from airport for additional fee and it's very convenient. The Hotel itself is located in a very good location, next to the Waterfront and it's very nice to take a walk on the evening after long day exploring the city and surroudings, there is a bus stop near. Lots of shopping malls and food location in the area. Hotel found a solution to serve breakfast without a restaurant and it was quite good, served on a long balcony. A bit odd that you have to get wi-fi preprinted receipts with login and password daily. Room wasn't fancy or very luxurious, more for a budget travelers, but clean and made up daily by friendly houskeeping. The only recommendation is to change grey colour of the walls in the room. Staff is very helpfull and nice.

Simpel maar goed hotel voor 1 nacht

Posted 22-Feb-2016
